About

A thousand years ago, a cataclysmic event shattered a world into floating islands scattered across an endless skyline. Civilizations tumbled, societies collapsed, and all seemed lost.

From the rubble emerged ragtag bands of nomads, who fly cobbled-together skyships from island to island, scavenging for resources to keep moving. These are the players of Worlds Adrift: Explorers of a new world and seekers of ancient knowledge.

Within the coveted ruins of the past, cryptic and forgotten fragments of the technologies developed by civilizations who built much, and over saw the collapse of it all. Harnessing such forgotten knowledge, players build greater and more powerful skyships that carry them further, past the crushing wind walls, through devastating lightning storms, to entirely undiscovered islands holding the mysteries of an earlier age.

Either working alone or with a crew of friends, players will choose their own path, create their
own stories, and tell their own tales. To jealously guard knowledge or work together to rebuild society is up to them; these choices will constantly shape the characters they become and the universe they live in -- the worlds adrift.Game details
Worlds Adrift is an unscripted, sandbox game with real-time physics, set in a world that is permanently changed by players’ actions. This new breed of MMO is set in a universe that was destroyed by the overmining of its precious levitating mineral, the Atlas stone. All that remains of the planet surface are the thousands of floating islands still rich in the precious mineral and scattered with artefacts from many lost civilisations.

Players will build a legendary skyship and escape to the clouds, forming a crew to seek the lost history of this mysterious world.

Worlds Adrift is one of the first games created using Improbable's unique technology, which allows Bossa Studios to simulate real-world physics on a scale never achieved before, for thousands of players in real-time.

Early Access Review Currently I do not Recommend This Game for Purchase. Have played it Now 6 Hours and Tested everything I could. Pro: Explore worlds/Islands is Fun. -Collecting resources is also good-Shipbuilding is class-By the World Swing fun-graphics still good Kontra:-Anyone Can kill you and steal your Belongings from the Big Bag, one Has only a Small Safe bag no Lockable Truch./Barrel-if you are enough You can explore Knowledge points you can explore wings, Cannons and Motors only it is unfortunately very tedious-if you have found enough engrame to build a airworthy ship, it takes forever to fly and hackers completely-The completely self-made generated islands sin D Just any lopsided lump with nix On It performance technically very Bad Short Geched Bad Performance and Mühselle Farming. The Loot can be easily stolen. When the Performance gets Better And you find more things like Guns, Dresses I recommend it.

Early Access Review I love this Game, chilly and sneaky. High Fruit potential As with DayZ. Fiesy Manatas who disassemble the Ship if you dock with a loud Engine. Requested Players who can be brutally exempted and large Cannons to tear fat Loechers into small Ships. Storm and Sandwalls that tear down the Engines and only let you get them if you plan your Ship properly. Many stove to the PVP share, but it is very easy to avoid. Ships are quickly built even with several Engines (about 40 min with Material Search) and you can store enough materials for a complete Ship in your Guerrig (Hochkant). You can't lose everything about the Guertel, so I don't understand that flame. The Lags have gotten better since the last Patch, they occur when an Island laedt, when you are at the Wheel of a Ship nothing happens. Those who feel comfortable in young Games and have found a Drink in Stranded Deep, or enjoy PVP in DayZ, but also don't stove on a Round Of Minecraft, like the Game for sure.

Early Access Review I can recommend This Game 100% if You are looking for an MMO that realizes new innovative Ideas and places a great Focus on player interactions and Exploring the Game World. Important: Keep In mind, however, that it is still in an unfinished Early Access version and therefore lacks a few Features and lots of Content that are needed to inspire for a long Time. If you think the Concept of the Game is good but expect a full Game I basically advise You to wait until the Release. However, all Basic Game Mechanics are already included and work well. Shipbuilding, Exploration, Progression and Travelling between the individual Areas are already a lot of Fun. I like the Game because it deviates from the ' classic ' MMO scheme and is more in The direction of survival game. Player Interactions are mostly the Pinnacle of the Game, whether it's a friendly Conversation with a Stranger, a Trade between Players or a Pirate Attack in high Airs. Emergent Gameplay Always generates more Excitement than any well-scripted Event. For these Reasons, I think this Game has a great Future ahead of it. I hope that BOSSA keeps its Promises and can implement all the Features on the Roadmap well. However, after the shallow Developments in the Closed Alpha and the open Ear of the Developers, I am very confident.
