XXZ: XXL clearly lines up among all the other "match 3" games out there and yet it has its unique Style.
Anyone who knows this Genre will immediately recognize the Game Principle and either hate or love it. The "Zombie Stripper" theme won't change your Mind, especially because unfortunately there's no Story in the Game. Too bad, given Away potential.
What makes XXZXXL stand out from the Crowd, however, is the approach to this Game concept.
It feels a lot more like a Jigsaw Puzzle, because you have three Characters facing up to three Opponents. However, only the Character is active on the far right, i.e. only he loses Life due to direct Attacks and only he can deal damage. So you will switch between the individual Team Members to take battered ones out of the Danger zone and be able to pepe them up again.
That gave me the zombie survival feeling.
The puzzle aspect now comes from the fact that new Enemy types are gradually introduced that manipulate your Team Lineup, E.g.: Always the same Character is, unwanted by you, pulled to the front, or the first Attack is always blocked, or You get Wounds so that you lose Life Points in every Position. The Player must then get around these Handicaps by combining properly in his Moves. I didn't know That in match 3 games yet.
Another Special Feature is that you don't always want to trigger pinpoint Cascades of falling Stones, because seriously injured Zombies also retreat behind others to regenerate. So Timing is crucial when you want to destroy a lot of Rows once, and you start building on that, which gives you a bit of a tactical Feel when Playing.
Unfortunately, however, one's own characters themselves have no Special Difficulties, they differ only in their passive Attributes; max. Life, damage, Healing Factor. Again, opportunities gave Away.
Verdict: From my Point of view, a "Must" for each of the match 3 games may. Even though it is a very entertaining and straightforward game (without much drum-rum), it was still a unique Experience in this Genre for ME and a welcome Change. I am therefore positive about the current Carelessness, because what I have bought has sufficed me, but I also hope that this Game will continue to grow, however.
