Yakuza 3 Remastered reviews and comments
Story and combat both are disappointing like half of the game is in f****** orphanage and some important missions for character development are side stories this game needs kiwami treatment fr only good thing about this game was its antagonist or overall a shitty game I would recommend skipping it and watching a full summery video on youtube
Yeah this is the weakest of the series so far save Fist of the North Star. Playing on anything other than Easy is an exercise in attrition, and Easy is so easy (duh) that, along with such a basic combat system, even the most grandiose combat encounters feel perfunctory, saying nothing of all the banal random encounters. I do like the plot and side stories a good amount, though. So overall, worth it with the huge caveat of only if you've played the previous three games and are interested on moving onto the rest of the series.
It’s not bad, but it is for sure the worse between Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1, Kiwami 2 and Yakuza 3 Remastered.
The story has a lot of potential, but is poorly developed and is quite a bit shorter than the previous games.
There are many annoying elements in this game, that I had not seen in the other games, it has many chases that are just boring and frustrating, combat is very unbalanced, big/fat enemies have too much defense and you end up spending half an hour beating a big mini boss, just so you can proceed and beat the final boss in 5 minutes.
The game also forces you to do a lot of side quests on chapter 4 instead of letting you just go on with the main story.
Would never recommend it as a starting point for people trying to play Yakuza, but if you have already played Yakuza 0, 1 and 2, this is an important game for the storyline and can be played in one weekend.
