About

'Zeus Quests Remastered' is a silly point and click adventure game with light-hearted humour. It combines Greek Mythology with Sci-Fi in a twisted way! This remake is fully animated with 60FPS, silly vector FHD graphics and super silly dialogs.

You control Zeus (Boss of Olympus) which is a wacky character. He tries to fix a time machine to save the planet from explosion. Everything happens in Greek mythology timeframe. The characters and dialogues are silly and translated into 6 languages. There is English Voice over in some cut scenes. Everything is fully animated with 60fps. We use Vector art, a unique cartoonish style.

Zeus, the boss of Olympus is summoned back to earth by an ancient security mechanism. The story starts with Zeus flying his spaceship and landing it in the bottom of the Santorini Ocean. In Santorini he will interact with dozens of crazy characters and solve many smart puzzles. The game is big, full length. He will visit Oia, Akrotiri, Fira, Caldera, Volcano and many more places until he finally discovers his super weapon, the thunder and the time machine box. But even then the task is far from over, he will have to set sail to another cluster of Greek islands, Milos, Karpathos, Mykonos and Delos. There he has to find the scattered pieces of the time machine so that he can use it to save the planet. There he will even abduct Europe transformed into a bull (mythology) and take her to Minoan Crete in the Knossos timeframe. There he will enter the famous labyrinth of Knossos, go to Festos and find the missing pieces to complete the mission.

Zeus Quest Remastered reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Russian
Product received for free "Zeus Quest"-is the most classic, visually strange and overly absurd in all its aspects of the game in the genre of quests, akin to "Monkey Island". The Type of such games speaks for itself: you click on everything, explore the location, collect items, use them correctly and combine, talk with the characters and move on story on. In this now considered game certainly succeeded, because it is difficult to break the decades honed mechanics. Though, Zeus sees, they have tried... Mentioning The Excessive absurdity of the game, I talked not only about its presentation, plot, local graphics and animations, but also such things as the gameplay. It would Seem, that it is possible to break in the debugged mechanism of standards of genre "quest"? Well, it's pretty simple. It Turns out that it was enough to sew the white threads on the computer control from the tablet. That's right, "Remastered" was initially sharpened under the game on Android devices, which is why the vast majority of jambs moved from there. Of Course, the mouse performs exactly the same functions as usual within the genre, but to control it tight, as it does not respond to the commands, when the dialogue is not extinguished, the new windows open everywhere, often confusing, and to iterate through the objects-just hurt at times. Imagine, the developer of the game managed to make unpleasant management in the quest, where clicking-is the main and only mechanics. It also Strains the hint system. No, in general, for the received points to call hints at deadlock situations-it is a sound idea, but why it was necessary to set a time limit of their use? This is not due to the established time limit, elementary because the person, lost in the riddle, still will not have time to pass the game in the allotted period, so that the timer on the prompts more reminiscent of the system of shareware distribution, as in The same tablet applications. But we play on the PC, we can not and will not pay you for it, so what for this function is needed at all? Yes, and the geniuses who set the time limit, it would be nice to tear hands. The Plot is definitely conditioned, but it is the same quest! It is meditative thoughtful passage with immersion in history, not a race with the time in which, starting to have fun, the game sends you away with the words: "You did not manage, now do the same thing on the new." To Her God, without this stuff the narrative would not have lost, and even on the contrary, the most irritable element in the whole game would be destroyed. But No, that's the author's vision. About the visual style, plot, humor, the puzzles themselves and the music is not much to say. The Drawing, personally in my opinion, is nightmarish and inexpressive. The Plot combining Greek mythology with science fiction would be better served in a more serious tone with a share of study, as the picture is too boring for "funny dialogues and riddles", because everything here is not too expressive and witty. Humor leaves much to be desired, although if the phrase "Zeus on a rocket" causes you a hommeric laughter, this game was made clearly for you. The Music is Blleklya, and the puzzles, in general, tolerable, suffering from the classic for quests disease: "How should I have thought before?". For example, go out and immediately return to the same location, so that there is night. Why should I do this without explanation? Why doesn't it work with other locations? Well, and similar periodically suffer and riddles, at which at times absolutely absurd, the decision which has come from a ceiling. Probably, for this purpose here and need a system of hints, fastened completely on glasses. All This I say only in the prevention of all the problems of "Zeus Quest", which you may encounter, due to the dominance of only praise reviews. If You also dearly love the genre of quests, as I do, you must know all this before you start the passage, which is clearly not devoid of fan. Absurd and surreal application and combination of items in stock, the craziest consequences of your actions as well. The Plot, though crowded with questionable quality humor and frankly unpleasant visual part, still not devoid of irony, interesting finds and charm inherent in the genre. So, if you are hooked by the plot, and you agree to suffer the inconvenience, take it safely. But Remember that the Russian language in the game is not, and the Greek and even more sci-fantastic theme party dialogues, of course, do not pass
