Zillion: Assault on Maris

When I played Assault City as a child, I thought it was too similar to Zillion. I have no proof, but I bet Assault City used assets from a canceled Zillion game.

True or not, the thing is that I wanted to see a light gun Zillion game since I was 10. I feel very lucky that my friend Michel Borges agreed with me and drew all of the amazing pixel art you see in our little demo! Thanks Michel!

Of course, this is just a loose interpretation of what a Master System game would look like. We took a lot of liberties with palettes, sprite size, and sounds. So far we done 2 stages, but more will come in the future!
