It’s May, 2018. Does somebody still play this game? Do I need any mods to play it? I just want some multiplayer missions.

I heard it is totally playable now again without any third-party software since GOG reestablished servers. Can be played on Steam and GOG without any ploblems.

You don’t need to install anything except the game. Run it and have fun - here are still some guys.
