A Plague Tale: Innocence review
by Reiko_LJ

Great game which made good use of its mechanics and the limitations of the characters.

A harrowing, oppressive setting lifted up by the bonds made during a tough journey.

I really enjoyed playing this and the final chapters were so intense I couldn't put it down! The final fight was frustrating though and the culmination a bit... Odd. But that doesn't take away from the enjoyable journey getting there.

First look this game has a very good graphic but little solid for animation and motion. Game play and some puzzle can pass through easily but I like it because I can concentrate to the story without worry about how to pass the mission. The story is very great like a movie, very dramatic movie. You can also upgrade your skill and find some hidden item in each chapter which is good and bring people who want to unlock achievement play again. overall is great.

The story is fantastic and I do like a good stealth game. The stealth mechanics are good with only a few rough edges that were acceptable to play with. The game does have a gigantic difficulty spike at the end, which does spur the overall experience. Worth playing.

This game is simple and modest. The graphics aren't crazy like RDR2, nor the gameplay immersive like Witcher, the effects aren't competing with Tomb raider either. No, this game isn't and does not pretend to be a AAA title. Which is what makes it quite good. Amicia and Hugo, the siblings are protagonists who go through a rough start amidst a plague apocalypse. The rest of the game is centred around the two saving the world and their own families with the help of some friends.
The good parts are the choice of weapons and upgrade path, pleasing sound and music, difficulty neither too high nor childish, the lights just appropriate for such a game themed around darkness. The length is also around 12 hours which is right for the genre.
What could've been improved though are the open-world interactions which are almost non-existent. You have to walk the chosen path only which reveals before you as you go. The other thing is that the gifts and findings don't seem to add any value. Finally, the post-ending scenes seemed completely useless and out of place.
But whatever, this game sure deserves some credit.
Really good story and plot. All the chapters were interesting and every chapter offered some surprise and emotion level experience. Only Minus is maybe that the side collectibles didn't add any value to game and I only found 10-15% of them.
great writing, great gameplay, good graphics and lighting effects. Dark and grim and gloomy. The final fight feels out of place though.
Incredible world, great graphics, awesome PS5 enhancements, awesome story, and absolute trash of gameplay.

Stupidest puzzles, everything is slow as molasses, and sneaking is excruciating.
Gamepass.

I really enjoyed my first few hours with this but I got tired of fighting torches and slowly walking through rats fairly quickly.
