Dark Cloud 2 review
by Luke Irvin

This should have been exceptional. It has all the elements of an exceptional game. The combat system is AWESOME. The combat and side-quest/exploration are very Zelda-like. Mixed in is a weapon development system that is very RPG-ish. It's a perfect combination. The gameplay is very rewarding. The story is great, if told a little cheesy. Overall I really enjoyed the first 7/8th of the game. The last chapter was utterly pointless. The story pretty much wrapped up in the chapter before, and should have ended there. The last chapter feels like a DLC with little effort put in. Extremely discouraging. Outside of this, I definitely did not like the Spheda mini-game, it was too challenging. There were a great deal of graphical errors as well. Overall a great, but flawed experience.
