The game came out right after «THPS4» and made a 180-degree turn. Instead of the classic arcade style, it decided to have an adventurous storyline. From this part, the «Tony Hawk» game series completely changed.
Despite the storyline, which showed us our path from absolute lows to the peak, I liked the customization!
We could choose our style, more individual. Choose the brand we wanted to ride for.
The multiplayer mode became a separate story. I played with people from all over the world. We even made the server settings for a «realistic mode», so the ollie wasn't so high, and we played the game of «SKATE», ordering tricks!
Lots of warm memories. Glad I watched this part, as it went unnoticed at the time.

Definitely one of the best Tony Hawk games ever produced. Just feels so good to do tricks, the enviornments all feel super well thought out and fairly well designed for tricking around. The story is nothing amazing but is honestly completely elevated by how much of a punk bastard Eric Sparrow is as a character. Every level and mission generally feels fair to complete and also fun to play, teaching you the mechanics and also inspiring the player to actively become better at the game. If you're gonna play any Tony Hawk game play this one 100 percent.
