The gameplay has become smoother for forwards, and collisions feel more realistic (and they actually involve goalies, which looks spectacular).
The music in this game isn't very good, which is sad considering that «NHL 04», «NHL 09», «NHL 10», and some other years had great compositions, even if you hadn't heard them before playing this game.
Overall, this is the best version for the old generation of consoles (Xbox 360 / PlayStation 3). It's the finest and final edition.
