Peak RPG.
Almost every quest is good, lots of memorable NPCs, almost every location has it's own little story and creating your own spells at the end of the mage guild is super fun.
Also Shivering Isles is the gold  standard of expansions for RPGs

This is one of those games that make you forget about everything in the world, enjoying its cozy atmosphere.

The main focus in Oblivion is the story and quests, not the combat system. Although there are combat moments in the game, and they are quite satisfactory, this is not the aspect of the game to focus on. Instead, the game engages you in numerous quests, each with its unique style.

Oblivion's soundtrack is unparalleled. Tracks like "Wings of Kynareth", "Harvest Dawn", and "King and Country" have become particularly famous. They perfectly reflect the world of Cyrodiil and can induce nostalgia in those who have spent many hours in the game.

However, the game is not without flaws. The auto-leveling system, which was supposed to ensure the player's constant development, turned out to be less than ideal. Many players consider it broken, as it can lead to situations where enemies become too powerful compared to the player.

I recommend to anyone who enjoys exploring the world.

One of the best stories in RPGs i've played. So many cool quests and as a Skyrim player, much better than Skyrim. My fave is Sheogorath's (prince of madness) DLC storyline with the world split into mania and dementia, what a frk great story that is!

I remember when I got this game. I got a 360, Oblivion and the guide for Christmas. This game blew my mind. I remember stepping out of the sewers for the first time, staring straight at some ruins and put the main quest on the back burner. While the game hasn't aged well mechanic wise, it is in my opinion, better than Skyrim. I put hundreds if not thousands of hours into this game. It's been my favorite game ever since. 10/10.
