Played and finished Loom in 4 hours and I have to say I was missing out on such a magical adventure all these years. Great voice acting and art! I really wish it was one of those point & click games that got several sequels.

Game: LOOM, one of the clock rocks of the Point & Click Adventure genre from LucasArts. A Game aimed at teenagers rather Than the younger Target Group with Monkey Island.
Single player: First, before you even start the Game, you should listen to the Radio Play. It tells the Story before the Game starts. Then you should open the Instructions (English Version, there is in the Steam Library) and read it through and then print out the Book of Patterns. The Book is needed to enter its Spells.
You play in a Fantasy World where each Group has its own Guild. One's own name Is Bobbin Threadbare and belongs to the Weavers. One Day we make and set out to look for your Guild. By exploring the Surroundings, we learn Songs such as Wool Dyeing, Invisibility, Etc. (There are more Songs than you need to play through), these Songs can be applied to different Objects and Situations to evoke reactions.
This is very versatile and often only optional, but still often relevant to get more of the Mystery story with it.
Graphic: The Graphics are quite good for the Time and are still very good to watch, it is the VGA Version of the Game.
Music: The Music is really very good, everything just fits here.
In the English Version there is also Voiceover of the very good Quality.
Unfortunately, there is no Speech output at all in the German Version, neither German nor English) Control: The Control can be done completely with Mouse and works great.
Pro/Contra: + good Synchro + good story + good Puzzles + super idea with the Music Level-no German translation with them-no German Instructions with them-no radio play with https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1591947446-far too short- Only VGA-VERSION of the Game, FM downs version is Missing http://steamreview.org/external/loom/-Version is Censored in Contrast to the FM Towns version https://www.schnittberichte.com/svds.php?Page=Titel&ID=5194 Conclusion: A super Point & Click Adventure, which has a lot to offer even though it's very short.
I have been a bit reluctant to do So because of the Music theme and Notes, etc., but there are 3 Levels of difficulty and with that everyone can really make it. I played it on Mittel/Normal and got on great.
This is still a good old P & K Adventure where you still had to write something yourself, it certainly doesn't please everyone, but it always brings me something very close to playing.
The Puzzles were always easily solvable although I didn't find about 14 Songs ^ ^, which makes the Game playable to discover even more.
Unfortunately, the Game is over after 5 Hours and you feel a bit deceived to be already at the End. It was planned as a Trilogy at the time and you can clearly see that in the End.
Nevertheless, I can only recommend the Game to anyone who is on Point.
