The LEGO Movie - Videogame review
by Patton the Gamicus

Fun as hell and filled with many nice nods to the movie and even other LEGO, Warner and DC media.

Most buggy lego game I've ever played.  I'd still recommend it if you liked the movie though.

Review The LEGO Movie To Make It Short: All as Always ...:) So whoever has played one of the countless Lego games in recent Years knows what to expect. There are always small Changes in the more recent Games and for some Time there has always been an "open Upper World" from which it goes into the individual Levels. So If you enjoy the same Game principle all the time, you will also be able to cope with this-but you can't expect great Innovation either. We should also say goodbye to a Challenge, because it does not exist. The Lego games are always easy, you have an infinite number of lives and when you have lost your Life, you spwant in the same Place again (you only lose a few Lego Bricks, with which you acquire, for example, various Characters for the free Game (after the Campaign) Can. I like the Charm of the Lego Games, they're always made quite witty and in the Co-op it's really Fun. Probably significantly less on my own-I always play the Lego series together with my 11-year-old Daughter. :) Compared to its Predecessors, I strangely find The Movie a Tick better. What is the Reason for this? Although there is no such strong License behind it (Such as Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit, Batman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean ...) and the Game in the trade Press Has been ranked a little weaker than the Almost simultaneous Lego The Hobbit, The Movie beams for Me a little more Charm out. I played The Hobbit right in front of it and therefore didn't expect "any more" from The Movie. But I definitely liked it a little better. This is partly because The Movie (unlike all other Parts) was basically built entirely from Lego Bricks-with predecessors only Destructible Things consisted of Lego Bricks. Furthermore, I like the Journey through the various Lego Worlds and-especially with the Nostalgia part of the very Old Space figures of the 80s-reminded me of my own childhood. All in all, a fun Game-with more of the Same. However, the Developer could do away with this Pseudo-open world again (which connects the Levels). I thought the old Solution was better (as with Lego Star Wars or Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, for example), but that doesn't really Matter. Technically, the Game looks quite good and I like the Look and Atmosphere a little better than with my Predecessors. But You mustn't expect a Graphic Wonder now. I have no technical Problems and can play with maximum Details and 4k DSR (Core i7-2600k @ 4.5 GHz, 12 GB RAM, Geforce GTX 970 SLI-but is also expected to run at the Level with less Power). My Rating: Graphic: 7/10 Sound: 7/10 Circumference: 6/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Play: 75%
