Octodad is an independent game without pretense other than offering us a funny and totally stagnating adventure: incarnate an Octopus, when in addition (almost) everyone sees only fire, is not an experience of the most usual! The grip is done in a good ten minutes, due to deliberately unintuitive controls (easier to the controller). This difficulty can also be strengthened by sharing the control of the character with one, two or even three other friends (local). The graphics, pleasant without being revolutionary, serve the purpose perfectly. The lifespan is relatively short (2H in a straight line) but it is largely lengthened by the challenges offered by the successes, the objects to collect (ties), the levels of the workshop and possibly the speedrunning (to which this game lends itself to with the presence of a stopwatch integrated at each level). For single point weakness, we may occasionally notice some camera/control problems (especially to put a bow tie or a hat), without any major impact on the fun of playing. This game is therefore a funny experience, and especially unique, which is really worth to be bought (especially on promo)! N.B.: all the dialogues of the game are in VOSTFR (no VF). N.B. 2: a sequel!

But its hard to control. Im like on the sushi stage and i cant escape him. Please make it easier to control the octopus.

The controls for the feet are quite complex but we get there with time but to control the tentacles it's hard!
