Ruined King is a polished, generous turn‑based RPG that brings Runeterra to life. The combat system, with its dynamic lanes and initiative mechanics, offers genuine strategic depth. The writing is a highlight, giving iconic champions like Yasuo, Miss Fortune, and Illaoi real narrative development. The art direction is stunning, and the soundtrack is atmospheric. The game is generous in content, with a 30‑hour campaign and plenty of side content. Some mid‑game pacing issues and repetitive encounters are minor drawbacks, and the structure is more linear than some RPGs. But for fans of JRPGs and League of Legends, and for anyone seeking a solid narrative RPG, it's warmly recommended. A beautiful success for Riot Forge.

I haven't played LoL in years but was still able to recognize most of the characters. I really enjoyed this one. Great story, gameplay, and characters (Braum is a hoot).
