What a f*cking journey. Awesome story, a bit too long, but it kicks you in the nuts.

Just played the intro so far. Maybe an hour. This isn’t a critique of the game but I’m noticing more and more my TV is completely burnt in. The picture quality and color is off. Which sucks. This game is a good looking game but I feel I can’t fully appreciate it with my TV. Side rant over.
This game looks great, it plays good and has decent design but it feels a bit too long. I'm not sure the first game needed a sequel and it felt a little forced. Overall it's a good game worth playing.
Watching a rat tsunami destroy a town is pretty neat!

Amazing story.

Exceptional game, very very good.
It looks pretty nice, though it’s not the best looking game, performance isn’t up to par with contemporary (probably bigger budget) games, some combat/stealth sequences can be a bit tedious and the later chapters go by very quickly, but I absolutely love this game. I feel so much for the characters, especially Amicia, the music is so incredibly good (the main theme in particular) and by the end the game had left me broken. Poor Amicia and Hugo had to endure so much … For me, the story finished perfectly and I wouldn’t need another sequel, but if Asobo does follow up with another game, I couldn’t be more excited to see more of these wonderful characters.
slayed as usual

tbh the ending is definitely making up for anything that this game lacks in gameplay. i play games to feel things and i got plenty of feels from this one. sometimes i really crave a narrative story that hits as good as this and i was really surprised at how much i cared about the characters and story by the end of it. gameplay is really rough and i had to play on easy to actually get through it. but that's okay sometimes.
«That ending!»
Saw the ending coming, but still was a lot to soak in. Gameplay wise similar to first part with more strategy and ways to clear the levels. Some of the fight sequences become a bit hectic but still you'll see once you think there are multiple ways for them as well to clear.
just good game for play for a couple of evenings
