Excellent Visual novel, a very rich and neat story.
Much longer than I thought, there is enough to occupy at least 40 hours I think.
For those who would like to read the English version, I think at least the high school end level in English should be able to follow it correctly.
But patience, the French version arrives soon;-)

One of the best visual novels I have read. While at times grim dark and emotionally devastating, it always managed to be hopeful in the end. It is a quite complex tale, spanning one thousand years, yet was never hard to follow. In it's core it is a story about humans, about how the best intentions can lead into unimaginable tragedy. It also shows that a story can change, if told from multiple perspectives.
While the art wasn't the usual anime-esque style you are used to from other visual novels, it was quite gorgeous and very expressive.
I was not as fond of the soundtrack as I would have liked, but it still fit very well and enhanced individual scenes.
Ultimately, this is a must read for fans of visual novels and for people who like good stories in general.

The House in Fata Morgana invites you to relive the various tragic stories that have taken place within the Manor over many centuries, to discover who you are and perhaps raise the curse...
A wonderful story (texts only in English, no voices) lined with a soundtrack just delicious! The beautiful drawings complement the picture of this Visual novel that will capture your attention for about 20h. The topics discussed are resolutely "adult" e.g. depression, murder, torture, rape... and nothing has been altered or censored in relation to the original version. No sexually explicit content if you ever ask yourself the question.

I've been playing a number of "Visual novels". It was on a whim that I decided to embark on this one.
I was far from imagining that this work would consume my life for many days.
The attention to detail, the excellence of storytelling and the music whose violins have torn my soul make this work one of the best experiences I have been given to discover.
Difficult to talk about this game, without risking to give details that could harm future players, revealing the meticulous work and special attention that was given to the writing of this story.
Also, despite your potential reluctance, despite your apprehensions, despite the priori that you might have on this work, I can only help you to let yourself be tempted, and to go to the end. If you keep your course, it is impossible that this trip does not mark you deeply.
