Eh it's pretty fun to just shoot a couple shots, it needs to rely a lot on nostalgia effect. The OST is great.

Early Access Review Many Games that scold themselves "old school" or whatever have at most the Look of the old Classics and then the not even beonders well. Gameplay-wise, you will still be cobsed with Checkpoints, DLCs, Microtransactions, Health Thregena and especially Console-friendly Control. DUSK, on the other hand, could easily go through as a real Old-School Game from the Years 96-99. The Graphics, the Look, the Gameplay, the Game Mechanics. If you Summarize this, you could call DUSK a Chimera of Doom, Quake 1, Blood and something Duke Nukem. Where the Gameplay then goes up in the Direction of Quake and the Desing Of the Maps, Characters and Sounds then in Correct Doom and Blood. Absolutely recommended! 666/10 My single Criticism yet: A control control control Has probably been added on request by console Children. (Even if this was heremorously commented on by the Devs). I Think that absolutely shouldn't have been the case.

Early Access Review I currently have lust back on real retro egoshooters like duke nukem or quake. And in the nostlagie vein have just played through ion maiden (unfortunately only a level outside) and the original quake 1 again. In the retro ego-Rush I finally discovered dusk. And yes, so much at the beginning: The purchase was always worth it. Dusk does not quite get to the level design of a quake or duke, clearly, since id and 3d realms are the level design gods par excellence. The levels and game design of dusk are more reminiscent of games like outlaws by lucasarts or kingpin. What you have to see very clearly in this game, however, is the fact that the manufacturer with quite a little engine resources has conjured up a really good game. And who else can say that of themselves? Just, not really many, or ... While other manufacturers enjoy lootbox-compulring or dlcs online, just such small but fine manufacturers run others to usurcule the gust of the player. And jaaaaaa, mine they have all the time, because dusk makes verd ... t a lot of fun!

Early Access Review "KILL THE INTRUDER!" DUSK is a Fast Paced First Person Shooter alla Doom, Witches, Heretic, Quake etc. The Graphics are intentionally bad. It runs on the Unity Engine and honestly, this Game is not about the Graphics but about Gameplay which is simply incredibly fantastic. The Gameplay is very reminiscent of the above titles (Bunnyhopping, Rocketjumps inclusive!). As with Doom or Quake Etc., the Game offers 3 Episodes (Early Acess Version Episode 1 + 2), a very successful Multiplayer called "Duskworld" And 2 different Endless Modes. As with the above games, Dusk also has, of course, a very large Arsenal Of weapons. The Main Focus, however, is on "Weapon Flipping:D" (So to the Developers who have come up with this deserves a Gaming Award ^ ^ alone) The Only Shortcoming to the Game is the Multiplayer. I have the Problem when I joine on a Server (although Players are supposedly on it) don't have players on the Server. This Problem only occurs sometimes, but I know that's all still in the EA. That will certainly fix everything there I'm sure! All in all, DUSK is a very very nostalgic Retro shooter that is a MUST shooter for everyone who loves Doom, Quake etc! For £20, you have a lot to offer. So clear Purchase emphelung!
