Though, visually, the game can look confusing sometimes - at least when you are on local PvP. Because of that, it doesn't look so inviting to new players. Since I played it only a little, I can't talk about the balancing. But I think it is like Mario Kart, where you have to play a lot of time to get an advantage since the skill cap is kinda low for new players - mechanic-wise.
