Bramble: The Mountain King review
Exceptional

What a game! The gameplay is intuitive but the music/atmosphere and also the visuals are so deep; The graphics are ok but is not necessarily the quality of them rather than what they show and how the story makes you feel

Bramble: The Mountain King is an incredible game that immerses you in a dark and enchanting world inspired by Nordic fables. The landscapes are breathtakingly beautiful yet haunting, with an eerie feeling that keeps you on your toes. The mythological creatures are terrifyingly captivating, making every encounter a thrilling experience.

Playing as Olle on his emotional journey to rescue his sister is gripping and filled with tension. The well-crafted story keeps you hooked, and I couldn't stop playing until I saw how it all unfolded. The game's puzzles, though old-school, add to its charm, and the linear gameplay doesn't detract from the captivating world they've created.

The music in Bramble is hauntingly beautiful and enhances the atmosphere perfectly. Even if you're not into horror, the compelling storytelling will draw you in. It's like living inside an epic storybook brought to life.

I can't recommend Bramble: The Mountain King enough. It's an unforgettable adventure that blends dark fantasy and atmospheric storytelling, all set in a world that's steeped in the wonders of Nordic mythology. Trust me, this game is a treasure you won't want to miss!
What a great surprise this game was. Stunning in many ways, from the beautiful landscape that are presented throught the game to the crafted soundtrack and fantastic and creative boss encounters, a trully fresh take on the genre. If I could resume this game in one phrase, would be "Inside (the game) feats Nordic mythology".

You play as Olle, a young kid who is afraid of the dark. He wakes up in middle of the night and notices that his sister Lillemor is missing. With a personal narrator guiding us and telling Olle's journey, the game immerses you very quickly on the mission to find the lost sister. Through the way you met many characters which may help you (or hunt you). Not only the journey is a fable, but also the hero's journey is present. Olle is just an young kid, afraid of the dark and alone in a big and dangerous world that don't want him to advance. This is presented after he finds a "Spark of Courage", an enchanted fragment with light powers which will be your only weapon throught the game.

Amazing folklore immersive game, beauty, horror, heartwarming, and heartache all in one. It has been sometime I wasn't so on edge playing it. Some moments of this game went viral on social network, I already knew it would happens and when It happened I was disarmed all the way, really well made.

In the same way I enjoyed a lot this game, a few things left me unsatisfied. During it's 5-6h gameplay there is little space for replay ability, maybe only if you want 100% achievements. For this reason alone I see the current price as kinda salty. The lvl design is mostly intuitive, but for a few times I was stuck trying to figure myself what to do, like in the clock puzzle, where no hint is given that you must use the same tip for the whole puzzle.
