I played dark souls 2 on coop in cold lake Alberta when I wasn’t gaming a lot at all. This game was the first push that made me think about buying an Xbox one. Dark Souls 2 was difficult and challenging as everyone knows, but also a ton of fun because I felt like I couldn’t stop playing. I had never played this sort of game before. While they can be exhausting they are also right up there for most satisfying.

It's still incredibly addictive and definitely one of the best Games I've played as well. But it's Little Things that definitely leave the first Part above the second part for me.
First of all, it is noticeable that one can only level up in Majula (the Hub of Demon's Souls). That alone is disturbing, I think. Because every Time you want to invest your Souls in Levels, you have to take loading times Unnecessarily. To do this, the Person you can level up with has to say the same four Sayings again and again before you can get started. Sure, you can skip these Sentences on, but that's also the unnecessary Time that passes until you can do what you want-Just level them up quickly. Later you will notice that although the World from this Game is still a very strong Game world, you definitely have Buck on, the ingenious Level Design of the first Part is unfortunately gone. This becomes quite clear at a Point where you fight your Way up a Mill to get into an Elevator that drives you way up into a large world Of flames. Outside this Mill, absolutely nothing suggests it could still go beyond the Roof. This, I think, is poorly resolved and would have been unthinkable in the first Part. There were far more skillful Solutions, as the Painted World of Ariamis proved, and overall a significantly smarter Design of World Design. Everything was plausibly connected. You rarely have that Feeling in the second Part. What I didn't like quite so much, moreover, were some recyclable Boss opponents from the first Part, who, for example, are simply let go five on one this Time.
In the first Part, Hidetaka Miyazaki showed an extreme Eye for Detail. Any Connection in the World of Dark Souls I is logical, even with the Items found in the World, and their Placements have broken Mr. Miyazaki's Head to make everything feel right. And this extraordinary Care is unfortunately missing from the second Part.
Now it all sounds very negative and yet I clearly recommend the second Part, because, as mentioned above, basically this Part is in no way inferior to the first one.

If you still Needed Mods for the first Part to trim the Optics more on "PC," this is fortunately no longer necessary for the second Part. From Software has definitely learned to do this Here. Besides, and for me much more important than the Graphics, the Connections with other Players now work the way you might expect from a Game in 2014. Of Course, in the first Part you can also connect with each other, but there have been many problems, took longer, etc., so that Mods have offered themselves there again.
