I first played this on mobile back when it was available on Android, but I didn't like it as you can't play that fast and your finger obscures a part of the screen
I decided to give it another go on PC, and ended up playing for around 40 hours. It is a fun game with lots of content, however, there are quite a few things I still didn't like.
While I understand the importance of accessibility, I believe that players who take on a bigger challenge should be rewarded for that (e.g., with achievements). I'm not a fan of the fact that the game seems undecided on whether it's meant to be a “roguelike” or “puzzle” game, and the player has no incentive to play the much harder roguelike mode. The roguelike mode should also provide an undo per level to avoid losing due to an accidental button press.
I usually 100% games, but had to skip this one. Completing all four quandaries with every character is monotonous.
A few more minor issues:
1. It took me several hours to realize that the Turbo Button and Examine Button existed. And also that taking out all of the foes and blocks in a stage give you a gem bonus.
2. I faced a minor glitch where the "Paradox Pack" pop up kept reappearing even after closing it. I had to restart the game.
3. Some enemy and relic descriptions are vague. E.g., Hits "harder" when you're at "low HP".
4. Some hats are unclear, e.g., the ones that say "levels behave as if X (e.g., on your Trial of Offerings)".
