Oxenfree II: Lost Signals review
by BloodScorchedSun

I enjoyed this game a lot like I did with the first game. I don't really think it needed a sequel but it was still good. There are some parts that could've used more work story wise like Alex being the antagonist but not really. Felt a little half-assed there. I think there's a lot of good dialogue between the characters. There was a few of the radio contacts that have time sensitive calls but some need triggers and that isn't clear in the game leading to one not playing out entirely. Overall it was a good time.

Great visuals, good OST, and a captivating atmosphere can describe this game in the beginning.

I loved the UI and how the narrative works. It felt pretty unique and different than what I'm used to. Unfortunately, the gameplay itself is quite weak. The game slows down when it is supposed to push us in and becomes repetitive with time. The dialogs are good but not enough to sustain the game.

Sad because it had a lot of potential for me.
