Dificultad difícil.

La historia no decepciona, es buenísima.
Arkham city es cerrada y Bruce Wayne es encerrado con otros presos políticos mientras Hugo Strange es el que lidera todo este movimiento. Hay un protocolo llamado el protocolo 10 que dirige Strange y que no sabemos lo que hace pero es preocupante y dice que va a comenzar en 10 horas. Tenemos ese tiempo para averiguar lo que está pasando y para encontrar una cura a una enfermedad que tiene el Joker y pasa a Batman mediante su sangre. Resulta que el protocolo 10 consistía en matar a todos los presos que había antes en el asylum y en la prisión de Arkham. Conseguimos desactivar esa matanza y eliminar a Hugo strange. Al final el Joker secuestra a Talia para poder hacerse con la inmortalidad de Ras Al ghul. Al final la cura que habíamos conseguido por mister freeze resultó que no la había tomado el auténtico Joker sino que la había guardado para poder atraer a Batman. Batman consigue la cura y la utiliza para salvarse, guarda la mitad pero Joker la tira al suelo al intentar robarsela. al final el Joker parece que muere y Batman sale de Arkham city con el Joker en brazos.
Hay más animaciones de combate, más habilidades y más gadgets. Se intercala una muy breve historia de Catwoman que no tiene mucho sentido. Las boss fights son muy buenas, originales, cada una distinta y con mecánicas únicas y divertidas, aunque algunas más simples que otras. Algunas mecánicas mejoradas. Por ejemplo el takedown se puede hacer instantáneo aunque haciendo ruido, o también que se puede hacer takedown desde la alcantarilla. La movilidad se nota más ligera, además el gancho tiene más rango y permite un movimiento mucho más fluido.
Los trofeos de Riddler tienen minijuegos más variados y divertidos. Ya no es sólo encontrar los trofeos, hay que resolver un minijuego que puede ser darle a varios botones en un límite de tiempo, pulsar 3 plataformas sin tocar el suelo, o guiar una bola empujándola o atrayéndola por un laberinto entre otros. El ragdoll sigue siendo malisimo.

Excellent graphics for the time and strong atmosphere ruined by a mediocre plot that doesn't play to the strengths of the Batman mythos, and sidequests that are mostly fetch quests. Too long.

The map is expansive and filled with content, the story is fantastic and Rocksteady improved on the mediocre boss fights from Asylum.

Arkham Asylum was really great in lot of aspects. Arkham City is even greater. Everything that was good in AA is just as perfect in AC, plus there's ton of new stuff, each one more interesting than the other. Joker, Penguin, Ra's Al Ghul, entire plot, it's ending, freedom of movement... Great, great game.
Great sequel that adds onto everything from the first game, except the story, not as good as Asylum, however its pretty good.

Very special game to me. I don't think that any game can ever replace this game as my favorite due to how dearly I hold it to me. I have played this the most out of all the games I have ever played, and I think it still holds up very well even in todays climate of games. Never fails to bring me joy and memories.
