Echoes of the End is a triumphant indie that weaves a poignant relic-hunt through a mystical Aema, delivering hours of sharp platforming and cathartic combat despite its flaws. For streaming, Ryn's emotional arcs and the clever puzzles shine, making it ideal for fans of narrative-driven adventures.
However, repetitive enemy encounters and middling audio dampen the excitement, creating a somewhat uneven experience for action purists. Compared to Tomb Raider, it gains magic but loses scale, though its poetic heart still resonates.
At its price (often on sale for 29.99 € instead of 49.99 €), it's a must-play on PS5 or Xbox Series, with sublime smoothness on PC. A fantasy relic of hope, shockingly great.
