Octopath Traveler 0 review
by Rogueh

Octopath Traveler 0 kept me immersed in Orsterra’s HD-2D charm for 45 hours — a gorgeous, nostalgic world backed by one of Square Enix’s most stunning soundtracks. The refined combat system feels smoother and more accessible than ever, the Master Quests are a blast to dive into, and building up your village adds a surprisingly addictive layer of progression. What genuinely impressed me is how welcoming this entry is. Compared to previous Octopath games, this one is more unified, easier to grasp, and ideal for newcomers who want to discover the series without getting overwhelmed. The one big drawback? There’s no French localization, which makes the experience tougher for players who rely on it, especially in such a text-heavy JRPG. It doesn’t break the magic, but it definitely adds friction. Even so, the journey shines with emotion, beautiful visuals, and a satisfying rhythm from start to finish. At 59.99 € (49.99 € on sale), it’s an easy pick on Switch, PS5, or PC — as long as playing in English isn’t an issue. Full review (FR): https://rogueh24.fr/test-du-jeu-octopath-traveler-0/
