Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is a genuine masterpiece and the best game in the Stories spin-off series so far. Capcom delivers a heartfelt turn-based JRPG that perfectly blends Monster Hunter’s iconic monsters with deep storytelling and addictive gameplay. You play as the royal heir of Azuria, bonded with Ratha, a special Azure Rathalos. The story of two warring kingdoms fighting against the Crystal Encroachment is gripping, with likable characters and surprising emotional weight. The turn-based combat is strategic and satisfying — breaking monster parts never gets old and feels incredibly rewarding. What truly elevates the game is its spectacular final act and the insane multi-phase final boss against Aeshin. One of the most epic and memorable conclusions in recent JRPGs. Visually charming, well-written, and packed with personality, Monster Hunter Stories 3 is a must-play for anyone who loves turn-based RPGs, monster collecting, or the Monster Hunter universe.
