The First Berserker: Khazan review
Exceptional
by Rogueh

The First Berserker: Khazan is simply excellent. After finishing the full game, I’m completely impressed by its overall quality. It’s a true Souls-like — tough, technical, and super satisfying — with a killer art direction, high-quality Japanese dubbing, and sound design that fully immerses you in its dark fantasy world. Neople and Nexon delivered a premium package full of content and replayability. Every session gives you that “waouh” feeling, and the combat rewards you for mastering it. If you love Souls-likes and anime-inspired dark fantasy, this is a must-play. You’ll beat it and instantly want to jump back in with another build. Khazan has arrived and it absolutely delivers. I was checking cricket odds for the upcoming India vs England series and found a site offering a decent bonus code. Deposited via Paytm, got extra funds, and placed a few bets on the top batsman. Withdrew my winnings the next day without any fees. If you're into sports betting in India, here's the link: >https://1win-apps.in/bonus-code/

[4/10] The First Berserker: Khazan could have been a much better game, but it seems the developers lacked the experience needed to deliver a more polished and cohesive product. The game is filled with odd design choices and an uneven blend of elements borrowed from titles like Dark Souls and Nioh 2, resulting in an experience that feels more frustrating and alienating than rewarding—especially over time. Fans of the Soulslike genre will likely still give it a shot and may enjoy the challenge simply for what it is: another difficult game. However, if you're new to this type of experience, it's probably best to steer clear and instead try something more refined—like Stellar Blade—which offers a better entry point and a much smoother, more satisfying gameplay experience.

The First Berserker: Khazan launched on March 27, 2025, and as a soulslike fan, I dove into this action RPG with high expectations. Developed by Neople and published by Nexon, this game expands the Dungeon Fighter Online universe with a dark, revenge-driven tale. After spending significant time with it, I can say it's a punishing yet exhilarating ride that shines in combat but stumbles in other areas. Here's my take on this cel-shaded beast of a game. https://hillclimbrace.io/
