by Roman

This game is extremely hard, couldn't beat it without guide

Atmospheric and engaging. Party management is good, combat becomes a weird dance with kiting enemies and puzzles are well thought out
Great puzzles, stellar atmosphere. all in all a great dungeon crawler.

Legend of Grimrock I + II For those who already found Dungeon Master and the Eye of the Beholder Series good, I can highly recommend Legend of Grimrock. One moves forward with his Group of four, as then, and fights various Monsters and solves tricky dungeon puzzles. There are interesting playable Breeds. Including Minotaurs, Lizard people, Rat People and even Insect Creatures alongside the well-known People. Classic Breeds such as Elves or Dwarves will not be found here. There is what you know from RPGs (Fighter, Knight, Barbarian, Wizzard, Battle-Mage, Alchemist, Rouge, etc.). In Character creation, one freely distributes one's Attribute Points and Skill points and Selects two Traits (Advantages). The Magic also works refreshingly differently, as you "paint" your Spells with The Mouse by means of Runes and then bring them to Effect. The Characters must eat Food, with Minotaurs Fittingly needing more Food than other Breeds. The Inventory can be extended by Bags and Boxes and everything you carry also has a Weight, so the Load capacity is very important. Potions can be Brewed Using Herbal Ingredients. The Puzzles are very tricky And use every possible Interaction Opportunity in the Game and is aimed at real Dungeonmaster. Little by little, you collect better And Better equipment and Artifacts that you have to earn hard. Thrown or shot Projectiles can be picked up again and found very sparse. Doors and Chests often require Keys or Diets and the former are often also lockable so that you can rest in Peace, but this in turn increases the Hunger. I like the Sound Effects very much and you can also hear the roving monsters. There are many different Types of Traps, including the good old Pitfalls you can crash into screaming, including broken Legs and the like. In addition to normal Injuries, which only reduce the LE bar, there are also more severe Wounds or Fractures, which can no longer be healed due to ordinary Resting, but also requires Healing Potions for this. Ordinary Healing Spells seem to exist on purpose, so the Rest is very important, where you can also be surprised by stray monsters if you choose your Resting Place badly. Light is very important, because you hardly recognize anything in the Dark. Unlucky ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ eln, which burn off naturally, offer a different Light than magic, which is also useful underwater, because you can see even less there. You have to weigh up very carefully who gets which found artifacts and which Skills you increase. The Latter, of course, cannot be retreated, as befits an old-school CRPG. In the first Part you can say only in Dungeons and only in the second Part there is a Surface and also a day And night change. Both Parts can be played independently of each other and are basically the same in terms of Technology. The Game is only available in English (but since there are very few Texts, that shouldn't be a Problem). What we are with, even in the Game's biggest Shortcoming, is that it basically has Next to No Storry. But If this does not bother and wants to remember the "good old Days" again, you should try them both Dungeon Crawlers. If you are interested in further Reviews of me, follow my Group.

If you like Dungeon Grawler you will love Grimrock. No inapp skid, no downstrokes, long game fun approx. 30 hours, with lots of hints and secret rooms also a lot longer. Play it twice now, I have not had that in years. Clear recommendation - Buy !!! I'm looking forward to the second part. Hopefully that will come soon !?

Rarely has a game for mobile devices tied me up like Legend of Grimrock. A few minutes ago I reached the end of the game and I can say that it was worth the money. The riddles, the atmosphere, the controls, everything works and works perfectly together. I would be happy if a port for the sequel was planned!

I bought LoG for my pc but never quite found the time - when I finally had some good consecutive pc gaming hours, there were always other games that somehow managed to get my attention. That's because LoG is a perfect iPad game! When I'm chilling for an hour or so in the evening I can get my dungeon crawl on, Eye of the Beholder style :) The game is masterfully ported and runs really smooth, well done!

Here is a very good dungeon game. A progressive difficulty with the need to manage his resources (potions, weapons); battles to think about moving on pain of premature death, nigmas mobilizing your neurons, and finally the possibility of making real choices to distribute your points of aptitude. In short, an excellent old school game. And what does not matter, a complete game ... without payment in app.

In the lineage of Dungeon Master and other Eye of the Beholder. An excellent rpg. Difficult sometimes but not insurmountable, far from it. Tons of secret passage, nigma and fight. A realization heals and for my part, no bug. A very good life also. And for the nophytes, the creation of the team can be done automatically, just to start with a team wobbly. In a word, go for it.

No purchase inApp. Dj it's great. Then the game is very good. Dungeon master, eye of beholder and company. Gnial. The difficulty is present, the nigmes not obvious. Remember to save regularly. Unlike what I read, it is quite possible to start its game on iPhone and continue on iPad, via the backup of the game on the cloud. So, it's not intuitive, but at the moment of saving, there's an almost invisible, cloud-shaped icon. We click on it, and we save on iCloud. Same thing to recharge.
