I've completed this game around 10 times on the different platforms and I extremely like almost everything about this game: great visual style, really fun co-op mode and Diablo-like loot and level systems but in the action form.

It's.. okay to say the least. The plot was kinda everywhere and nowhere at the same time. The setting can get boring at first but will become more interesting after the first areas and such. The gameplay though is good for the first installment. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you'll not. But it also inspired the developers to create a good sequel, so there's also that.

Fucking garbage. Deleted the game because of it's exceptionally bad balance and combat systems. The worst first person shooter game i've ever played in case of FIRST PERSON SHOOTING. Like, what?
«Buggy as hell»
«Disappointment of the year»
Shoot magazines upon magazines into copy paste enemies to get better things that still need 50 bullets to kill a single mob.
«Waste of time»
Entertaining for the first hours, then it gets repetitive and boring.
Too much focus on stats: two level below target? Cant kill anything. Two levels above? No challenge at all.
Lack of FOV change made me dizzy in the more confused fights.

A pretty successful Game, which I enjoyed for a long time. Borderlands is a Mix of Shooter and Role-playing.
The Story is about the Hunt for the so-called Chamber, a Kind of alien treasure trove on the Planet Pandora. During this Hunt one is accompanied by some Main Characters, for Example the funny (but also slightly annoying) robot CL4P-TP, also called Claptrap. The Story is really well incorporated into the Game area at the Beginning, later you often only run to an Area for a single Mission. I feel like that there also the Number of individual Missions is decreasing. Often just a story mission and few Side Missions. More on these: In addition to the Main Story, there are quite a few smaller Missions, some of them are related, some are just simple Tasks like "Kill this Person." Often they are funny, but sometimes in the Long run they become somewhat monotonous. In itself, the Game has a (from my Point of view) pretty funny humor. Partly totally pointless, stupid or macabre, there is often something to laugh about, at least for those who like this Kind of Humor. The Game world basically consists of post-apocalyptic Elements. Rough Desert Landscapes where Scrap mountains tower up, Bandit villages, mountain and Ice Landscapes shape the Face of Pandora. Everything is in a comic it graphic Style. Personally, I had to get used to it first.
One can play as four different "Classes," as a Soldier who can put up a Gun, as well as a Hunter who can send his "Bird of prey" to attack Enemies. Plus, there's the Siren, which can (simply put) make itself invisible, and the Berserker attacking Enemies with bare Fists (and pretty clean in the process). You can level and improve the Characters as the Game progresses.
Borderlands is most Fun in Multiplayer, where up to 4 Players are possible.
In Principle, the Game is also a lot about Looting. Almost everywhere there are containers around that can be opened. In Multiplayer, therefore, it can sometimes happen that all Players want to run to Loot Chests as quickly as possible and grab the Weapons. It's best, you play with Friends and talk to who gets what Guns. From that point of View, you find enough anyway.
The Music of the Game contributes to its Atmosphere, often keeps discreetly in the Background (if any).
First of all, the Game. Borderlands can't really be compared to another Game (I know), so just take a look.
As a Numb, this results in: Graphic: 7/10 Story: 7/10 Characters: 9/10 Environment and Environment: 8/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Total: 8/10 Now to the Extensions, of which there are 4.
"Dr. Nds Zombie Island" adds an Island where creepy Things happen. Who hasn't guessed it now: It's robo ninjas. Of course not, it's Zombies! Where they come from, together with the slightly suspect Dr. Ned, you have to find out. Grim atmosphere, and I don't think the Story is bad either.
"The Secret Armory of General Knoxx" is about the aspiring General Knoxx of the Crimson Lance. The Expansion promises plenty of Loot, as does a "secret" Boss who is the highest Level (61) and who is best defeated with 4 Players. But everyone should find out for themselves. What I like are the well-known Characters we meet again (E.g. Mad Moxxi, Scooter, Marcus). Personally, I think this Enlargement is the best, as it is quite large.
"Mad Moxxi's Underdome" adds an arena mode. You can face the Hordes of Enemies in different Arenas. This is not even so easy and is highly recommended for the Multiplayer. After some Time, however, this can become a bit monotonous.
In "Claptraps Robot Revolution," Claptrap seeks Domination. The Story is made with Humor and I liked it. In this Extension, there's a Room full Of Looding Chests that you can keep getting into. If you want to know how to do this, you should just play the Expansion. Another Point I think is very good is that Characters from the other Extensions are included here.
Borderlands is a Game that plays well with Friends. If you like the Game, you have a lot of it. I can definitely recommend it.
