Ethan: Meteor Hunter is a puzzle platformer, and I expected something like Braid or Super Meat Boy. Instead I got a boring game that had nothing to offer. No challenging puzzles, no challenge in general, just a 3D rat. I was ready to spend hours playing another amazing game but was very upset with the quality of this one.

It can be said that the development of Ethan: Meteor Hunter was not simple. After the closure of HydraVision entertainment (obscure...) end 2012, part of the team that was working on the game redeemed the license, and continued the development of the game under the name seaven Studio. The team originally from Northern France brought his vision to Ethan and the game came out on PC and PlayStation 3 in October 2013.

Excellent plateformer, where new concepts are introduced over the levels for a really easy grip.
Various levels, with a real difficulty that forces both to think while having good reflexes.
Regular checkpoints allow to stop and resume without problems, for a very correct lifespan: game completed in 10h.
On the graphic side, the game has nothing to be blamed either, just like the soundtrack, which, even if it is not really extra-ordinary, sticks rather well to the atmosphere of the game.
Anyway, I recommend.

Not basically a bad game, but anything but exciting. The genre of the puzzle-platform being already well overloaded, one more game that does not bring anything in terms of mechanics and that is at the bottom pretty much was perhaps not necessary, right? I bought it out of curiosity, by force to hear the team say on all the sites that it had not sold enough: normal, you realize a game really very common, which finds itself drowned in the mass. Of course everyone doesn't care, we have so many very good titles to make that "average" games no longer interest people!
I must confess that I dropped the sponge very early, at the level with the spring or one has to climb, a big peak of difficulty completely absurd at this stage of the game... But overall, I was already bored in the previous levels, nothing seemed to come out of the lot. Neither the graphics, nor the "universe", nor the gameplay. Hence the fact that I stopped, nothing made me want to get my fingers out of my butt to pass this big level of ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥-♥ ♥ ♥ but hey, this is the first game of the team, with a little luck and perseverance, you will make a better one next time!
