The Witcher Adventure Game review
by Juri

The game itself is cool to play with friends, if you like board games. While AI could be better, this title can be quite enjoyable when you find someone to share the game. I remember that in the beginning it had huge problems with online sessions and connection, however, these issues were fixed, so now Adventure Game is quite playable.

As a Witcher Fanboy and Passionate Board Player, I just have to Rate this Game well. It should be said, however, that Implementation is not the Best Board Game Implementation that exists. Missing from game Tutorials can make it a little harder to Get started than you might like. Unfortunately, the Game against Bots also takes a very long time, as they also play every Turn extremely slowly and there is no Possibility of acceleration. The Dice also feels a bit strange, unfortunately, as the Dice fall comically and sometimes roll out of the Picture as well, that could have really been solved better. The Board game itself is really well done and I think about whether I will buy it like that to play it with my Friends. Verdict: A must for any Lover of the Witcher Series or People who like board games. For anyone else, unfortunately, I wouldn't Recommend the Game. Therefore, Conditional purchase Recommendation.

The game has some decent tutorials that gives makes it easier to get into the game. After a couple of matches vs the AI, you will pretty much know the basics of the game. Bought this first via Steam and then on iPad hoping for cross platform, but sadly it has not.

I've played all the Witcher games before checking this game on Steam. Later I found out there was a ios version as well. It's identical and thats a big plus. Though there are some bugs here and there, this game still deserves 5 stars. Imagine all the boardgames on appstore having this quality. Pfff. Hats off to the makers for respecting the lore and the physical version of the game. Cheers.

I love this game, but when I'm playing online with a friend, it will suddenly kick my friend out and say that they have quit the game even though they haven't (I know this for sure because they're sitting right beside me). For them it says that I quit (even though I didn't). This is incredibly frustrating and makes the game unolayable. If this were to be fixed, I'd give a way higher rating (I also own the physical game).

I really like this game, but it tends to suddenly end the game while playing with friends. For no apparent reason. We were still both active. This is the reason why I gave this game only 1 star, because this is really annoying. If this is fixed then I will give this game 5 stars. It would also be nice if the game would save automatically, so that if you leave the game temporarily to go to another app, you can continue where you left of.

The gameplay is ok in itself, makes fun for a few passages, but then it is very fast repetitive. Ultimately, you always do the same, there is hardly any interaction between the players, everyone plays like that. The AI is unfortunately programmed silly underground. By the time I calmly level up my character and completed my three quests, the AI player has not even completed one of his own quests, even though he has all the resources he needs - and he does so every time. If the first stimulus is gone, I'll probably delete the app again. Especially since she is reliably on my iPad someday unspeakably slow and laggy. :(
I don’t like that you don’t understand what other players do in this game. So matches consist of endless pauses, when you just wait till your opponents do something. You don’t see their cards, or monsters they meet, or at least something happening to them. It’s really boring.
