You've gotta play this game with friends. Solo, it ain't fun. Duo, it ain't fun. A full squad of 4 where you are constantly killing each other by accident and your spells clash and create massive chaos -- now that's fun!

i always have a ton of fun with any game in the magicka series. my friends and i unfortunately encountered quite a few problematic bugs whilst playing this together, but never hit them alone.
i wish there was more variance to Wizard Wars when it was around, but boy do i miss it

The good: Fun in local co-op.
Nice colorful visuals.
The bad: Requires another account just to see some character stats.
The frustrating: friendly fire quickly turns from a developer marketed "feature" to a confusing clusterfuck of rage.

What is this Mixture of Nonsense and Mischief that multiple Accounts need to be created for a Game?! Great Game alone, but the Multiplayer Mode remains Scrap and Scrap for me when I need a Steam account AND a paradox account-and YES, I actually got the Game because of the Multiplayer Aspect

I don´t actually remember the reason I preordered Magicka 2, since I was not a huge fan of Magicka one.
The release was also... dull.
I mean the gameplay was fun and there was a♥♥♥♥♥♥load of easter eggs, but the game all in all had quite too many bugs and was too hard.
But maybe that kept me motivated that I played it in all difficulties. Even the challenges.
And to be honest, I´d say its a Co-Op must have game!

Magica is a nice and very fun Game.
The Very idea that you can kill your own friends at any time is fabulous.
Combining is now well thought out in some Places, but I know from Sources that there were a Pair of more Spells in the Predecessor.
To everyone: It's very easy, unless you play in "Banana" (Very heavy).
I find the new Equipment System very commendable, by the way.
All in all, a very good Game.
PS: I know the Review comes a little late ...

Funny Multiplayer Game: • Black Humor • High incentive for real Teamplay • Creep Factor • Not too heavy and not too easy • Beautiful level size > also suitable for in between times • Beautiful graphics In comic Style without total Kitsch • nice hectic Combination Rattini With a high Susceptibility to Error and its Consequences (best Point!)
In the Single Player, the lack Of Cobination with other Real players makes the Game a bit more difficult. It's really the most fun in the MP.

I'll do it short!
Magicka 2 disappoints a little. You can get the whole Game with, in Principle, three Spells. The Spelling System has been greatly simplified, compared to the Predecessor. It just doesn't bring Fun anymore because you mostly use the same Spells.
Opponents are a second Shortcoming in The Course of the game. I don't want Spoilers now, but if you play this game on your Own you have to have a high level of frustration.
Fans will buy the Game anyway. However, I would advise newcomers to the Game and advise you on the first Part of the Series.

It's Fun to experiment with the Elements, even if it's annoying when you've played an Area for a Quarter of An hour and then have to start all over again because the Quarter of An hour of Progress isn't saved. In addition, level design does not really require Experimentation with Elements and new Mechanics rarely come into play, therefore no Recommendation for the Full Price. For 3 Euros I would probably recommend the Game, as it is as mentioned above, it is Fun to experiment with the Elements and to see what magic you have created.
