Back to Bed review
by ZeusOfTheCrows

An odd little puzzle game with a cutesy aesthetic.

I looked up extra again ... Yet, this is supposed to be a puzzle/puzzle game. As a four-legged Companion, Back to Bed protects a Sleepwalker from the Crash. When he gets to an Obstacle, he turns right. That was it first. You collect Apples, put them in his Way and bug him back to Bed. And in the next Level again. And in the next one. Deathing alarm Clocks and holes are added, and More are determined Later. Which I won't experience, though. Because it was really enough for me. Because letting someone turn right until they're at their Destination Isn't suitable as a Thinking sports Task, of course, Back to Bed thrives on the Hustle and bustle that comes from being able to act only when the Sleepwalker moves (i.e. not during the Break). Further Hustle and bustle is added because the Control by Mouse and Keyboard is useless. The initial Recommendation to use a Gamepad is nothing more than the Admission that you didn't provide a working Mouse control. The Computer-generated voiceover is ridiculous. The Developer should have let his Grandma speak the Lyrics, or, always better than the Bidding, simply refrained from issuing Speech. I bought the Game at the Summer Sale. The Pretty Graphics and the Promise of a Puzzle Game had lured me. I got pretty Graphics-a Puzzle Game didn't. Although I'm not stingy at Games, even the bit of Money wasn't worth it.

Framerate more sluggish than it should be on modern devices. Nice and twisted atmosphere, but does not make up for the somewhat basic gameplay.

The intro however says that Bob is a narcoleptic. This is not true, he is sleepwalking (is somnabulistic - narcolepsy is a very different condition). Cool graphics, fun gameplay.

It requires little hassle with regard to the control and the interface. Tip: you have to hit the "Dream On" line to move on after each mission. Otherwise nice and well-executed environment with many fun graphic elements. Works without problems, but not completely logical interface.

I was hoping that with the last update the problem of level 14 of the second series of the dream (harbor hazard) would be solved and instead I can't move forward, I can't catch the fish and anyway the room level too high. I hope it gets fixed

The idea of the game is minimally interesting, as well as the setting of surrealist style. The benefits end here. It is a puzzle game in which you have to think about what actions to perform so that the secondary character reaches the destination point. Unfortunately, the main difficulty is not the resolution of the level from the logical point of view, but to get the main character to do what you do not want due to psy controls. And that the game offers two different modes of control. The two modes are inaccurate and make you unhinged to try to get what you want.
