This is the Police review
by Roman

The story is really good and interesting, but gameplay routine is not very deep, so the game becomes slightly boring after few hours. It should be at least twice shorter (you need around 17 hours to complete the game).

You play a Policeman who is about to Retire, to be exact 180 Days. His Wish would be to earn half a Million more in order to no longer have Worries in his Retirement. The Narrative Style of the Story is very good, through short Sequences that are kept in a minimalist but very beautiful Graphic Style you will learn more and more what is going on in Jack. In these Sequences, one can also actively intervene through Dialogue Boxes and thus change the Story. You can play either as a good, or bad Cop. (Addendum you can only play as an evil Cop) Most of The time is spent on an Overview Map and you do the everyday KrimasKrams, which you have to fulfill as Police chief. One distributes Police officers to the various Points in the City where there are problems right Now. These are sometimes small Things like a Call from a small Child who pretends to have been kidnapped--> when you are there with your Whole crew room it turned out that the Child just didn't want to eat his Vegetables. At exactly the same Time a bigger Crime happens and you don't have any Policemen to send them there as they are with the Vegetable child. Most of the Results are automatic, 2 Police officers send a crime a short Time later you will find out whether the Crime has been successfully solved or not--> that in turn depends on the Experience of the Policemen. Then there are the more complicated Things, such as hostage Taking, where you then have to actively intervene in the Action again with the Dialogue box. Either you shoot the Hostage Taker, or you try a Conversation etc. In addition to this classic Policing, you can also send Detectives to Murder Cases, which you then have to solve in a special Interface. This System then deepens more and more By, for example, only having to arrest the Head of a Gang for a special number of days--> before that you have to work your way through from the smallest Crook To the head. Your Employees also have individual Needs so it may be that someone has died in the Family and the Employee asks about a Day's Vacation. You give experience Points, send your Employees to Courses, the City Government protrudes around more Staff, or more Income--> so there's plenty to do. I haven't played for very long, but I enjoy it a lot so far, especially the Story and The Self-talk of Jack I like very well. The English Voiceover is awesome thanks to the Duke Nukem speaker (so far I've also noticed 2 small Allusions to Duke, one of them right in the Intro). The only thing that bothers me at the Moment is that I have not yet been able to discover an Option to disable the Subtitles. Me pers. It takes a little the Atmosphere when you can see additional Text in the Sequences. Addendum: This Review was positive, but now changed it to negative as I just had a frufying Experience, which should not happen in a Game. If someone doesn't want to continue reading their own Experiences, Spoiler: Jack is a Character who is more or less broken. The Game tries to make one clear that his only Chance to reach half a Million is the evil Way. It tries to turn you Towards Corruption from the Beginning, but I wanted to be a good Cop. Someone who manages to change his Life, the Game also gives me the Opportunity to do so. In the Course of the Game I get to deal with the Mafia that wants me for their Purposes. I reject that as a good Cop, they keep trying to recruit me for their Purposes but I refuse. I even go one Step further and take active action against them by purposefully destroying their Businesses. Sand of the Mafia Boss meant in each of his Comments that he didn't think it was good, but I probably did have my Gründ efor--> so nothing world-moving have continued to play my Game. After now almost 3-4h Game time comes back as so often a short Video in which I am killed. In large Letters white on black stands then Jack is dead. I'm back in the Main Menu and that was, so I'd have to start all over again now (there's only one Memory point that's always automatically overwritten) and in addition, I'd have to continue playing as a corrupt Policeman to get any further. I didn't inform myself about this Game Before at All, just read the Shop description on Steam and bought for the Price immediately--> I would have looked at the Forum because that's a Point that knots some sour on.
