Ziggurat review
by ChallahBread

The closest we'll get to another Heretic in a while even if it is a challenge-based rogue-like of an FPS that can get as vertigo-y as your typical Valve title. It's fun in short spurts which is great considering the game isn't much longer than that anyway. Play it and then watch some Heretic on youtube for the complete vibe.

Hello dear Friends! Before I get to the Review: If you prefer a First Impression in the Form of a Video, like to look here: Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8JZNyZG1Nc Otherwise we come to a Short Review now: I have made 4 Attempts to "conquer" the Ziggurat so far and have to say: Crisp heavy ^ ^ But that's also a good thing, as it's a Roquelike Dungeoncrawl FPS in principle. Game World: The Story is more expedient, as a candidate for Membership in the most powerful Mage Guild, you will be sent in a Ceremony in the Ziggurat to witness your final Trial. And that's where the Game starts. The Card is generated at random and you are always experiencing a new Game world. So you can play As many times as you want, you will never see the same Area. Logically, the World consists of Set pieces, which unfortunately repeat relatively quickly. Unfortunately, I cannot yet say what it looks like at later Levels. But there are different Types of space, such as Lava Rotts, dungeons, Etc. But the Unit design is SUUUPER. I've rarely seen such cuddly and interesting Mobs. I am always happy when I can fight against Carrots, Mushrooms or anything else ^ ^ task in the Game: Actually quite simple, survive ^ ^ And For as long as possible. Meanwhile, you keep screaming into the Ziggurat and climb level by plane. The Monsters to kill drop Potions of Life and Mana. And you desperately need both of that. Because, as is customary In Roquelikes, there is no Regeneration of Life. In Between, you will always find new Wands or Magic Books that serve as Skills or Weapons. I haven't found any classic Weapons so far, but vll that's yet to come. But at least I have already found some Amulets to bring the Buffs! In addition to the Weapons and Spells, there is also an interesting Skillsystem. With each Level climb you Get to Choose from Perks, which bring different Pros and also Disadvantages, such as living more, or more XP. Classic Attributes, such as Those with Diablo, on the other hand, are dispensed with. There Are no Skills in this Sense either! Technology: The Graphics have a nice Comic Style and are somewhat reminiscent of "Orcs must die." Overall, I like it very much, even if it is unfortunately not uptodate. But What always amazes again is the atmospheric Lighting, which sets really great Colour Accents depending on the Light source! From the Sound, the Game goes OK, sometimes we have nice ambitious music and the Sounds are also quite nice. But Anyone who expects sound In the Form of a Battlefield is out of place. But you shouldn't really put as much Emphasis on the Technique in the game. Fun: It's something of there! I keep getting caught up with the Thought of coming into my Head: "Come on, a Room is still going!." It quickly becomes "Come on, one Level is still going!." You're quickly hooked. But Since there is no Loot in the classical Sense, there is not such a Lot of collective anger. Nevertheless, you are happy like a Schnitzel about new Perks or Wands ^ ^ You can play Ziggurat well in between or sometimes works well for Hours! For the low Price you have a Lot of Fun! There is Also a lot going on For Achievementhäger. Due to certain Completed tasks, you not only unlock achievements, but also new Characters and Info Pages in the Game's Own Lexicon. I can only recommend Ziggurat, at the Price you can do nothing wrong! LG Your Poolitzer LP-The Indian Channel
