i'm happy sony went out on a limb and made this one of the PS2 launch titles. creative, with a great sense of humour for the kids that would end up playing. could be nostalgia goggles, but i have fond memories

Before adventuring on a route of re criticizing and scrutinizing games shadowed by childhood nostalgia, I decided to wet my appetite with a game of the same era but from a series I've never played before.
Sly Cooper was always elusive to me. For some reason, I never had any experience with it. Now, after playing on my VITA, I'm sure I would have loved it as a kid but feel frustrated with it now. Hopefully R&C won't feel this unfair! Game mechanics favour luck over being precise at times and most mini-games are atrocius. The powers for the most part are superfluous but the humour is sometimes fun, what a time to be a kid!
