Laserlife review
Meh
by fenrir

Laserlife is a rhythm game that looks and sounds incredibly good. That's about where the positives end, unfortunately. Maybe this is just me (I played this with a DS4 controller, although I've heard similar complaints about 360/XbO controllers) but it is very obvious that this game wasn't meant to be played without RealSense. Using a controller, your hands will inevitably cramp horribly, especially during the first segment of each memory where you need to use the triggers a lot.

Also, the gameplay itself isn't really particularly satisfying. Shame, since the presentation is genuinely impressive for an indie title.

Hum pardon a musical game? On steam?? I'll be right there, Sir! Big game fan like REZ or even child of Eden, this laserlife is very good in form as in the background. Let's start at the beginning: mandatory joystick. And knock, nothing more, nothing less. Indeed you have to play with two "spokes" and for this the sticks are obligatory. And knock. For the sequel you have three universes with different levels in it. Each universe brings a mechanics of gameplay that goes well and the last universe it is well boiling in terms of difficulty. And knock. For a few euros, you can enjoy the ear for a variable time (depending on your willingness to scorer or not). Only flaw in my sense: the game requires a great concentration (not a worry) that makes the hands are ultra clenches on the sticks (a worry). A nice summary in video band of you =) https://youtu.be/VLqdU0ujSn8

TL; DR: a game that's worth it, as long as it's sold out. Graphics: pretty, albeit technically a little weak. Gameplay: a bit awkward at times, but largely playable. It is a game where you will really feel progress and it is quite rewarding. Music: great and perfectly about, very rhythmic and very mysterious. It puts you in the mood! Screenplay: original, strange and creative. Lifespan: 1h30 to finish, you are warned. If you want the latest achievements, you may be able to add up to three hours. Price: wait for sales! As far as I'm concerned the game was offered to me when buying a laptop so I do not have to complain, but €15 for 1h30 of gameplay is really abused, was it to live a strange and creative experience on a background of good music. Bonus: 5 steam cards. Nice backgrounds to the key if you make the badge.

Product received for free good little mix between a game of rhythm and a railshotter. The game swings you fast enough in the bath without really explaining to you but the principle is simple: one advances in a spatial "tunnel" a little dreamlike and we have to recover fragments of memory using the sticks + trigger of the controller. Each laser is led by one of the joystick sticks. Each level breaks down into three sequences:-catching the fragments. -Pass in circles with lasers. -Avoid the Red barriers in the last tunnel. Finally the final score is calculated in a final table where you have to turn the two sticks frantically. This is the weakest part of the game because the result is conditioned by the multiplier, the latter falling to zero when one misses a fragment or a ring in the first two sections. What makes that even if you do a quasi-perfect, if you miss just one point in the middle or at the end of the second section you will masturbate your sticks as never the low multiplier condemns you to a small score. Despite that, it can be a great promo experience. On the other hand it is not worth the €15 requested off-sale. Ah, and gamepad mandatory, the game being designed around this use.
