Do mind that by recommended I mean if you have a nostalgia, or for some reason like FMV games. This game has everything you would want from this type of game, strange acting, intriguing plot to keep you going and lots of wtf moments overall. " If I did THIS...would that mean anything to you?" :)

English review to follow "Contradiction-Spot the liar," an FMV Game from Baggy Cat.
Without much Expectation I went to "Contradiction-Spot the liar," but after about 6 Hours (most of Which passed as if in flight) I can say that I was very positively surprised.
A consistently exciting Told crime story with-I think-mostly good (although often exaggerated attribute) acting performances and interesting Figures. However, I have to note that the Game or Characters always operated somewhere between cheesy (probably even aware of how it;) belong to an FVM) and really gut/! A Mixture that always knew how to please. The exception to this was actually only the Leading Actor, who came across something "oversubscribed" FOR my Taste. Perhaps this was only due to the English Nature, I cannot judge that. In any Case, it was always charming enough to ignore it or to dismiss it with a Cheating.
Playfully, Contradiction remains-of course-subtly reserved. Apart from some Objects and a Map or different Places that can be run, the Game is essentially limited to Finding Contradictions (who would have thought it?) in the various Statements of any Persons. Except for 1-2 smaller Logic Gaps, this was also very fluid and exciting to accomplish. I would still have found it beautiful If Contradictions could have been crossed, i.e. Person A would contradict Person B e.g. in his Statement. But on the One hand this would probably have been too much Effort, on The Other hand it would have become a bit too confused for the Player at some point.
The Story itself knows how to convince from the Beginning, despite relatively fewer Locations, manages to be Spun on and captivated. Only 1-2 Situations I personally found to be almost too "ridiculous" staged, for them to have blended harmoniously into the Overall Picture, but as mentioned above, that is probably part of the Charm of a FMV game.
Technically, there were no Problems from Start to finish. I found the optional Subtitles very pleasant, even if they are only available in English. However, the Actors were usually very easy to understand (apart from 1-2 somewhat "noisy" Exceptions).
Overall, I felt the Price was very appropriate to the Game as it could keep me entertained very well throughout the Game. From exciting, mysterious, abstrus, to resounding Laughter, everything was there. Personally, I would be very happy to welcome a Successor, and I would very much like to be back with Detective James, uh Jenks;) Actually MUST MUST (as far as financially secured) there almost give a Successor. I would still have one Question ... But don't Worry, the Game per se ist/was completed in itself! I just don't want to spoil.
With that In mind, free to be free! ;)
