Optimization so bad it gives you headaches.
Maybe there is a decent game under single digits framerate stress, but no fix found online solved the issue and at this point i dont care.

Small Preliminary Review. I'm torn back and forth. I already know it through Lets Plays but when playing yourself you should pay attention to something.
The Game has a Playing Time of about 6-7 Hours. It Is best to play it at a time because it saves very very irregularly. Which is directly my first negative Point. In my 90min season so far I had to start it 2x over again because it didn't save my Journey.
Obviously, it only stores in "important" places. But how to know which job was important?
That's a big Minus Point for me. A Function to save yourself would be fantastic here.
Furthermore, this Game is not for Action friends. I would almost call it a "Walk simulation." Since you go really slow. And you can't run either, although a Race button is occupied by the Settings but doesn't work.
If you were to patch again at the 2 Corners, more People would certainly be excited about the Game here.
But to get the Positive: The Graphics are like I think damn good. Look Zb. In a House through a Window you can see everything in detail as it is outside. I haven't seen any other Game like that before. At least not with that much Detail.
The Soundtrack is an absolute Masterpiece and was in my Music Collection even before the Game.
Just Wonderful!
There is a clear buy recommendation for the Soundtrack, Atmosphere and Graphics alone.
Where I advise you to buy it only in the Sale. 20 Euros for 6-7 Hours of Play is something much to ask, considering my Negative Points.
Who is the best way to make this Game? Fans of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter or Dear Esther will certainly be able to spend a few nice Hours here with.

I would rather have my Thumb left or right here as a "Recommendation" for this "Game."
First of All, I am already "Dear Esther" damaged and knew after a Minute how it would almost continue to the End in this Story. These types of "interactive" Movies on PC are not necessarily bad per se. But If you have such Calibers as L.A. Noire, which bring much more immersion and interaction (but nevertheless discreetly and arguably dosed) into the Story, then of course one wonders why you let go of such a thing on Humanity.
Let's Get to the Pros: The Cryengine, of course. It offers Graphics Cards of raping Optics at the highest Level. Although it is incomprehensible why the Performance is so difficult to bring to the Road, on a comparatively simple visual Project, this well of the Engine can still be easily taken into purchase here.
The Design of the Place and the Landscape have been excellently successful. You really can hardly complain here.
Let's Get to the Kons: For some, the Soundtrack may be simply awesome. It is also super made, but it doesn't suit me at all with the Atmosphere and even less when a History scene is played and you hardly understand the Entertainment of What Is happening at the Place.
The way of Walking and the speed chosen Also destroy the Atmosphere for me. Because it feels as if the Protagonist has no interest in exploring the Events on The ground, nor any interest in getting away from this Place.
The "non-linear" Narrative art ... Is kind of Marketing Blindger. It doesn't matter if I first hear a Conversation in the Kitchen about a new Employee or the same Topic or another then in the Equipment Hall of possibly other People. For these Events are independent of the Story "There is a new one coming" and in this Sense contribute nothing to the Story, since they have no Influence on the coming of the New one. I did NOT choose any Example from the Everybodys gone to the Rapture Project Here to introduce this "Picket Fences" Methodology. The End of The Day, however, you have to activate certain Key Events in order to come to the End. Yes, these are the ones where the Story is saved:)
Conclusion of the Whole thing: I probably shouldn't have gone through "Dear Esther" before. So it was too boring for me and I ask myself the Question whether the Devs shouldn't try to break up another Topic.
Oh yes, if you still want to go through the Story, then wait for a 75-80% Offer;)
A beautiful game with lots of stunning areas to explore and a thoroughly detailed world in general. The only problem is it is not really a game, it is more like a walking simulator. But since it is impossible to walk like this IRL, I think I’ll spend a copule more hours here.
Oh, one more thing – the story is bad, so just walk
