Small Semi-Roguelite (kinda) FPS game made for Winter UE4Jam 2019.
The spawn of a few random ideas I've had laying around for a while now.
I went for this style of gameplay after looking at a few definitons of the theme for the UE4Jam, and finding out that 'All's fair in love and war' essentially means 'do as much as you can to acheive your goal'.
Objectives:
Currently, kill a random number of ghost enemies per level.
survive for as long as possible without dying or running out of time.
Current Features:
Randomly generated levels, featuring an increasing number of enemies over time
Interactable objects that can be picked up and thrown at enemies to deal damage
A Buff/Debuff system that changes per level
Current Bugs:
Game crashing bug that occurs when an object you are holding is destroyed before you can throw it, and pressing the throw button will crash the game.
Some buffs/debuffs aren't working as they are supposed to
