"Oregon Trail in Space" Player commands a Klingon ship, and explores a randomly generated galaxy, having encounters along the way.
WASD to move "shuttle puck" or Focus
Numberpad Plus&Minus to zoom
Camera remains over the Homeworld, but follows the Focus
Player's ship follows the focus, press Q to slow down and E to speed up
if a ship passes close to a habitable world a planet icon appears..
Right Mouse Button to create a temporary beacon that will attract friendly ships
Day 1
OK.. I went back to an old idea.. "Star Trek Oregon Trail".. so.. what I've got so far is, Player controlls this shuttlepuck across a galaxy map.. and discovers new planets randomly scattered around space.. and thats about all i got so far.. need to make some encounters..
Day 2, 20-something more to go..
I got a basic random galaxy going.. so the ships discover New Worlds, as they get close.. these will eventually make some kinda encounter thing... only 2 kinds of space objects to encounter right now, "nebuleas" and the "new worlds"
