When Adrift's first Trailer was on display, I was very taken with the Look and how to theoretically move on in Space with the spacesuit. Unfortunately, the first Games Of reviews were already mostly negative, so the Euphoria gave way to me and my Skepticism increased. The Testers were absolutely Right. Adrift is so incredibly boring but also an immensely frustrating Game at the same time and from the Start, just a few Minutes into the Game. One is always On the lookout for Oxygen Cells-because the Drive of the Spacesuit unlicalises so much Oxygen for the most minimal Thrust with the Thrust Nozzles. This is pure Stress and you don't even have Time to explore the Surroundings in Peace. If you can come to terms with it, Adrift vlt is. Much entertaining, to me it's nothing. The Mini-map, which is almost Useless to me, also adds to the Confusion. Readings in 2D show me where to go in Space-but only dare. Because up in Space is not up and down not necessarily down. After 30 Minutes I had no Desire to absorb another Oxygen Tank and just let my Character die from a Lack Of oxygen. In Space it is quiet and remains here. Incidentally, the Achievements clearly show that this Game could not even Excite the Majority of Players to play It longer. The first most unplayed Achievement Have only unlocked only 16%. That speaks Volumes!

I played this Game about half an hour with the HTC Vive before I was so nauseous that I had to stop (which, by the way, happened to me for the first time in a VR Game). At first, of course, I was pretty disappointed. But then I started another Try without VR Birille and I was pretty excited. Gameplay: ADR1FT is not a Game for People who like a lot of Action. It is rather very relaxing and well suited to end a stressful Day. There is not much to do in this Game. Most of the Time, you fly through the destroyed Station in your Spacesuit or try to reach separate Parts of it. Here and there there are Logbooks and SSD's that you can collect and every few minutes you should fill up your Suit with an Oxygen Bottle so as not to suffocate in agony. The Navi at the bottom left reveals the Way to the respective Target, which is usually a Monitor that repairs something activate/. The Spacesuit is still damaged at the beginning, but is repaired during the course of the Game and thus of course improved. Graphic: Even though ADR1FT in VR Has disappointed with the lack of Graphics settings, it ultimately looks absolutely great on the Monitor. The Lighting Effects keep loose with each new Top title, the Textures are sharp and the countless Particles that fly around weightlessly are simply impressive. With a GTX 1080, it runs at 60fps throughout 4K resolution. Story: A Story doesn't really exist. Every now and then you come across a few Audio and Text Logs that reveal something about the Crew and you get messages via radio from Colleagues on Earth to help repair the Station or survive it. Conclusion: ADR1FT is a Game for World lovers and People who like to be able to switch off a bit while playing. Even if a real narrative of a Story does not take Place, it is still possible to have several Hours of fun thanks to the Unique and beautifully looking design of the Game world. Recommended for €10 in the Sale! Unfortunately, it is only partially suitable for VR.
