Ok, ad-hoc review:
The game was still fun to play for me but not as much fun as I had with AoF2.
The game has a map which shows different locations which the player can choose to visit.
The negative aspect here are for me:
1. The map gets confusing over time, because the locations are shown as big square pictures and no useful information on them
2. After every battle(and after visiting a location?!) all locations will be generated again which is annoying, especially when there is nothing new to the locations or new locations.
3. I played in the end an evil Drider even though I wanted to play as good, but I don´t know how to achieve that. A short explanation how to win a fight without beeing evil AND without staying weak would have been great.
Positive:
The game has all the feature which can be found in AoF2.
NEW (at least for me):
1. Voice acted story telling
2. Units can have wounds. If that happens they have to be hospitalized and can´t fight the next fight
3. units can carry potions now
4. Some special hardcore fights which are optional and some can only be done when the hero carries specific artefacts (super fun)
5. I think the nature campaign has more than one endings(depends if you play evil or good, but I am not sure here!)

So, finally Age of Fear 3 is here. I waited a long time after the first 2 brilliant Parts massively enchanted me. And even though I haven't played through yet, all I can say to all the tactics friends out there: Buy it! The Game makes everything just as fantastic as its Predecessors and expands it with a beautiful World Map on which you can select side missions. In addition, and this is the most beautiful Point for me, the Developer takes care of his Games. They are important to him and you can feel that too. They are given new Functions and have been developed with Heart and Soul. You don't have to play the previous Parts because the Campaigns are independent of each other and don't build on each other.
BUT you should be able to speak English. No super Duper-what I am For a Badass English, but English since there are not in other Languages. Personally, I love the Graphic Style, which has improved massively over the Years. The Terrain in particular is now beautiful. Years ago, This consisted of Color Sticks and between are beautiful Landscapes on which your men's/Creatures fight. Speaking of Men, if those who survive your Battles, you can take them with you and continue to upgrade them with the Experience gained. And probably the most important Point: There are mushroom people. How horny is that? Although I don't know yet if you can control those in one of the Campaigns themselves.
