About

PLEASE NOTE: This is an Early Access: the Survival, Creative and Multiplayer modes can already be played but the story mode will only come in the final game.

In Alchemist's Awakening, you are a young alchemist who is still discovering how much power he has.
There are 9 primary elements, which can be mixed together and recombined into blocks of different shapes, or used as attacks against enemies.Explore
Explore an infinite and procedurally generated open-world, use the Wind element to fly from a desert island to an iceberg, discover ruins of ancient builds deep in the forest, find rare resources and settle down somewhere to shape your own world as everything you see is made of small building blocks. Each block is unique: every stone block is different yet perfectly shaped to fit the place put it in, every leaf, every piece of wood is unique.Build
As an Alchemist, you can recombine the 9 primary elements into other shapes and materials. Then you can place blocks anywhere in the world and build anything you can think of.
Build machines to help you collect elements: for example, create a big wind turbine to collect the Wind element.Creative Mode
If you like building more than everything, the Creative mode is made for you, with tools that let you build even faster.
Use powerful tools to terraform your own world, and then share your creations on the Steam Workshop or create a server.
The Creative mode will also let you create a real adventure map: in a coming update you will even be able write your own quests, script your own special blocks with true gameplay changes.Combat
Every element can be used as a weapon: launch fireballs, create a strong wind that repulse enemies, or instantly create a sword in your hand. Your attacks will get even more powerful when you combine several elements.
Fight againt the monsters you encounter in the world such as wolves and thiefs, and fight against other players in the multiplayer mode.Give life to Creatures
When you build something with a human shape, you can give life to it and it will start to move and animate.
Command it to follow you, guard your base or mine resources for you.
Depending on its shape and the type of block you used to build it, it will have different strengths and weaknesses.

In the Creative mode, it will be possible soon to teach them dialogs and give them a part in the quests you are writing.Play with friends
Alchemist's Awakening comes with an online mode: you can connect to servers, share skins and buildings which you made for your friends, create your own server, and try different game modes that will be available online.
Creating a server is very easy, and you can add your own special blocks, creatures and machines to make it really unique. You can also invite up to 4 friends to your world.

Alchemist's Awakening reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Deutsch
Early Access Review Alchemists Awakening is a Crafting Game, a Genre that Is now very much (over) represented. But with a refreshing Approach: Instead of increasingly branching commodity Lists, the other way to a few Elements is here. For Example, Nature stands for Wood, Grasses, etc., Metal for Gold, Iron, etc., and in addition, the Elements Fire, Electricity, Wind and Ice also find Inroads. You can combine these Elements at will to achieve new Results, or to work magic (like Lightning Attacks). In addition, you can bring some built shapes to Life and turn them into Companions. So, all in all, an exciting unused approach. This is an extremely early Version so far, some Animations do not yet exist, but the Game runs very stable with a few Bugs or Glitches in the first Few hours. Even a Multiplayer game could be started without any problems and you could already admire the first Buildings of other Games. The Graphics are sometimes very nice to see (especially the Sunrises or the Light that breaks through the Thicket), elsewhere there is still a bit of work to work. The Music is excellent and supports the Atmosphere great. There is an urgent Need, especially in the first Few minutes with the game-the Tutorial leaves you perplexed at all else than anything else, in some cases raw materials are needed to get on, which are not found in the Tutorial Zone, but for which you have to explore, For some time you need other Knowledge, which will only come a little later. This frustrates at first and makes getting started unnecessarily difficult. Once you have fought your way through this (if necessary with a bit of Help from the Internet), a huge World is open to you. In the Future, Controller Support Would also be nice, Playing with a mouse and Keyboard is a little too uncomfortable for me personally in the Long run:) Overall, a positive Impression remains, the Game is still quite early in the Development Phase, it's not all gold that glitters yet, but the Ideas behind it and the first Approaches to Implementation give you good guessed. I'm excited about the Development of this Game and I'm happy to come back again. Assessment: 7.3/10-still very early in The Development stage, but promises a lot for the Future with good Approaches and ambitious Goals. Summary: To Highlight: Interesting Crafting mechanism Excellent music Tlw. very narrow graphics, atmospheric Tag/afterchange Running fairly stable, few Bugs and Glitches, both online and Offline Suggestions For improvement: At this Time is The Tutorial unhelpful, much you have to find out for yourself. Using a Controller would be desirable in the Future. Disclaimer: I was kindly provided by the Developer for Testing purposes
