Alien Hunter 2D  - Shooter

Final assignment for first part of game development course.

Larger Modifications:

1) Design and Animation of new Player Sprite.

2) Integration of TileSet with Colliders and asteroids hidden to create cover and hazards .

3) Power ups added.(Speed, RapidFire)

4) Lives Mechanics added. Player is able to heal.

5) Enemies modified to follow player while they shoot.

6) New music added.

7) More complex Level Design based on progressive difficulty.

Note:

There are some things I struggled with when it came to adding a timer to the power ups and creating a heart system that updated in the UI when a live was picked up.
