Alpha Kimori 1 reviews and comments

"Alpha Kimori™ 1"-an entertaining representative of the category of games made on the engine "RPG Maker", of which, of course, something revolutionary not bled dry, but there are cases where enthusiasts-developers manage to do something really unusual, well, or Least tell the story they want to tell. In Order not to go far, this game is only a second case, though it is done on the conscience. If you are familiar with the concept of games of the early "Final Fantasy" or at least once played a game made on "RPG Maker", then there is a view of what the game looks like: Pixel graphics, top view, step-up fights, role-playing elements with leveling and search for a shmoja for Performance improvements, tons of dialogues. All this in the game, of course, is. First, let's go through the components, what distinguishes the game from the rest? Well, first of all, a juicy picture. It, of course, has not ceased to be a pixel, but Modelki and environment are drawn and animated with great effort and love. The Designs of different areas and cities are colourful and create a pleasant experience. The Characters and their movements are made well, fault nothing. The disadvantages that you can mention here-completely the fault of the engine "RPG Maker", very tight and almost unsuitable for experimentation. Liked that we see the characters during the battle, not a lazy first-person view with immobile enemies. The Magic of its appearance is not very impressive, but will come off. I didn't like Music personally. The Track from Hazun Miku, of course, cute, but sometimes does not get epic music during heavy battles. From poorly done-fonts are kneaded with numbers greater than three, and during the use of magic sprites drawn characters are shown in a terrible quality. The Plot here is, perhaps, the main component. It is typical-Animeshny: long ago in Earthlings native planet was repulsed by aliens, and the remnants of people migrated to another, and then divided into two camps-those who want to live in peace and harmony with the new planet, making it a second home, and those who want to Land the Earth Back, using the resources of a new planet to fight the aliens, while mercilessly milking the planet dry. Of Course, there was a military conflict between them. There is a hero boy with a unique mentality for his race, there are his friends and there is his great destiny. In General, typical things for their genre. The Plot itself is judged early, as it is only the first episode, but so far it seems quite tolerable. I personally liked the relationship within the team of Rick and Vanessa, who have a common past and certain difficult relationships because of attachment to each other and views of the situation. This seemed to me to be the strongest part of the scenario. On the other hand, did not like how simple all the main character is washed, as some of the characters in the dialogues begin to be healthy, and suddenly do something quite unusual. And one-sided with all the duality of conflict, of course, very tense. And yet, the local world has a very interesting universe, with the magic of different directions, technologies and views. Robots, again, or magical creatures with a strong source of energy. It was a wild Thing. Although This is a quests trouble, especially when they start to make a trip back and forth, although previously just teleported to the desired point. I Will be honest when I was asked to suddenly find 50 healing stones, although in my pocket for the whole trip for 3 hours of play, accumulated only 10, I could not tolerate it any more. In Other words, the game has obvious problems with imagination about the tasks that pose to the player. Taking Into account all the above, I will say that the game is not bad. It clearly stands out against the background of the same-type crafts on "RPG Maker", but its specificity and shortcomings do not allow it to fully enjoy. Especially because it is not complete yet. In Other words, people take at your own risk. If you are a fan of the genre or want to immerse yourself in the world of a well-researched techno-fantasy universe-you here. But I warned...
