Steam Workshop

We now support the steam workshop for playing on community maps, community modes and more! We'll have an official guide on modding soon available here and on our website.

About the Game Overview Apocalypse is the upcoming survival built entirely by one developer, with a growing community, the apocalypse focuses on singleplayer apocalyptic survival, with all of the latest graphics technologies integrated together such as Physx 3, Unity 2017.2, Directx 12, and Vulken. Built and funded by the community! The final release will feature a fully voiced campaign which follows the life of a survivor, struggling to fight alongside the few established factions left, in one immersive first person shooter experience.

Early Access While we're in Early Access we'll be letting the community download and test the apocalypse from our website and Steam. After playing you can head to this page, our twitter, or our website and give us feedback, submit any bugs, and suggest more features that you'd like to see in a future update. Many of the apocalypse's features have been integrated thanks to the community's feedback, such as the building system, vulken support, and the factions within the campaign.

Environments Since the start of the apocalypse's development, we've been developing immersive environments inside the apocalypse. All of the environments have been hand-crafted with realistic props and buildings with constant updates to the visuals and shaders to polish the overall appearance. Built so that you can scavenge items, craft shelter and build structures. You have to fight the constant need to eat, drink and find clean air. Finding these resources is the key to survival.

Drivable Vehicles When exploring the apocalypse, there's vehicles that you'll come across which can be used, this helps you reach new areas and protect yourself, you'll need to be cautious as you'll only have a certain amount of fuel and you will have to repair any damages. This ranges from simple street cars, to trucks, armed vehicles, military choppers, and more.

Development Team We're a small development group, with only one developer and one publisher, we design, publish and sell indie games. Previously we've made three game titles, two of which are in development. We've been running since January 2014 and all of our team are dedicated to making high quality products on different platforms and marketplaces, we started with several game ideas and have evolved since since then with more then two thousand community members and more then 500 early access downloads. We're glad to finally make a Steam release and we plan to keep supporting the apocalypse. Here's a quick mention to everyone who deserves credit from what we've achieved so far:

Apocalypse: The Game reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Spain
Product received for free Early Access review My full review is in http://aratablog.com/aratareview-apocalypse-the-game-pc/History We Are in a post-apocalyptic world, where it seems our goal is to survive with weapons that we find in The way, and we will have to look very well where we go and be turning every time to not be killed who knows as in the game. The Gameplay We Started inside a laboratory-jail-queseyo, the truth is that it does not look good where we are, only seems a complex with dead people everywhere, we will seize weapons that we find, the introduction of the game is a tutorial that will tell us The controls and movements with the keyboard and mouse. Soon we will be leaving the complex and we will find a large forest, without knowing where to go, full of trees and strange noises, so you have to be very inclined not to charge the scrubbing (I repeat no idea what to do in the game). Suddenly appear a series of zombies to which we will have to take all the weapons we have at our disposal, but watch if you die Respawneas where you killed and unarmed, bone is to return to full or run like crazy to see what you find in the different Buildings of the game. The Graphics Here I have a very problematic point, as it is a very very dark game, within the day's ambience is clearly seen, but when the night comes there is absolutely nothing and but if it touches fog (a real headache). The Music The Truth is that this part makes me uncomfortable enough, the background music is striking, you pass the time but not set in the game, the ambient audio are quite good and will always have you alert (when there are sounds), because the zombies do not do n Noise, you don't know where the you're going to get. Conclusion Pros: The atmosphere of the post-apocalyptic world. The Adventure on the island of Zombies + survival mode. The game has an isolated space mode. You Can Change the level by placing items at will. The game is compatible with the workshop. You Can Whip your masterpieces. Quite interesting Accomplishments. Cons: Letters too small in the Start menu. Failures, falls, incomprehensible delays and poor optimization. After death, the character lost weapons. It Stops appearing on the map, even though they generate cartridges. Kill the zombies after the resurfacing of the corny is nothing, but the cartridges are full! There's No music in the game. There are few sounds, some are successful and others are annoying. I Understand that it is an Early Access, but the game is missing too much, but I firmly believe that can give MPAs of what you see this game, so hopefully an update and has a super gameplay.
