ARMIES AND CASTLES
About
This is a turn-based strategy in a classical style, with randomly generated maps, and an ability to watch battles between computer controlled lords.
A lord must conquer castles and towns, send armies to gather resources and supplies, to eventually defeat all opponents. The map is randomly generated, with lakes, rivers, roads, woods, hills and mountains, castles and towns.
We are a team of two developers: a programmer and an artist. This is our first project. From the beginning we wanted to create a program, similar to classical board games, that we can play together, with some additions:
First, procedurally generated maps.
Second, an ability to watch battles between computer controlled opponents, without our input.
The program is written in C, with only SDL library used for graphics.
