ASCII Game Series: Beginning reviews and comments

Product received for free Who does not know Pong? It is one of the first games released in the history of videogames in the far 1972. The thing I like about Pong that despite his age always manages to have fun with friends. This is a game that simulates "ping pong", The gameplay of the game is extremely simple. There will be 2 small white bars at the ends of the screen, each player (or computer) will check one. The aim of the game is to make a white ball go to the end of your opponent if it fails to hit the ball gains 1 point. Eh I wish I had played Pong, this "ASCII Game series. Benning "gets water from all sides. Let's Dwell already from the game description: "Minimalistic pong-like retro game with lots of achievements."... What? How does Pong to be more "minimalism" than the classic that was black and white without any particular textures? Here the bar is replaced by many "*", as well as the ball. The background instead is made from small lines except the center at the bottom that are letters that change continuously... Boh... Well Despite everything I think I can have some fun, in the end is pong, maybe it works well online and I can play with friends! No, and you can't even play against the computer! It Holds a single mode: You are the bar and in the other end there is a simple wall. You can just dribble by making points... Are we kidding, right? I Can see if there were more modes (like in some console pong) but having only this is really ridiculous. Boring after not even 30 seconds. In theory I could already stop here but I also want to talk about other problems more secondary game... First of all THE LACK OF SOUNDS! How is that possible? Why the hell can't you hear anything? (You can only hear a soothing music where it has nothing to do with the game.) Another thing that I usually ignore completely is the Achievements (trophies) of the Games. Usually the achiements unlock themselves by finishing chapters in the games, making a high score, discovering secrets. How does it work Here? Every time you hit the ball you will automatically unlock 9 achievement... And this game has 4992! In 20 minutes I unlocked 3851 unnecessary achievement! The System of Leardboards? (Oddly enough it has one online) also this hurt! You will only see 6 players in the Leardboard online, and there will be no filter for friends. I have no words... How do you have so many flaws a simple game like pong? Be clear I would have voted it equally negative if you would have done it as Pong, of clones around there are thousands and even free on the internet. This instead you want to sell a version of Pong broken and even paid! No Special Graphics! No Sound effects! This developer from what I see wants to re-propose classics like "Snake" or "Tetris" but from what I see they look like a dirty one! Absolutely Not recommended! An insult to the classic game. Rating: 0.5/10
